SOURCE: my lexmark X658de mfp says insufficient resources.try again when printer idle. i need solution.
Hi, did you mean:
Insufficient memory to support Resource Save feature?
(This means the MFP lacks the memory needed to enable Resource Save. This message usually indicates too much memory is allocated for one or more of the MFP link buffers)
You can rectify this by:- touch Continue to disable Resource Save and continue printing. Install additional memory
You can get additional memory from Amazon or Ebay.
Just put into your search engine, Memory for Lexmark X658de.
Hope this helps
regards
David
When you first enter the printer menus from the operator panel, you may notice an asterisk (*)
next to a value in the menus. This asterisk indicates the factory default setting. These settings
are the original printer settings. (Factory defaults may vary for different countries.)
When you select a new setting from the operator panel, the Saved message appears. When
the Saved message disappears, an asterisk appears next to the setting to identify it as the
current user default setting. These settings are active until new ones are stored or the factory
defaults are restored.
To restore the original printer factory default settings:
1 Make sure the printer is on and the Ready message appears.
2 Press Menu until you see Utilities Menu, and then press Select.
3 Press Menu until you see Factory Defaults, and then press Select.
4 Restore appears on the second line of the display.
5 Press Select.
The message Restoring Factory Defaults appears followed by the Ready
message.
When you select Restore:
• No other button actions are available on the operator panel while Restoring
Factory Defaults appears.....

I am assuming that the printer is connected to a network. Please check the network cables to make sure they are secured, and then try printing the network setup page. The network setup page will show status connected. If the status is not connected, contact your system support person to make sure the network is functioning correctly
Before sending a job to print, make sure the printer is set to ready state. Ready or Power Saver appears on the display. Please check the status of the toner and check that you are using the correct printer driver.
Printer driver is available on the Lexmark website for download. If no fix, for other information please click the link http://bit.ly/k2p8B5
