Do a sw reset....its possible it was damaged when it was dropped in the water, but not likey....

turn the phone off, press and hold the soft keys (buttons with the lines on them above the home key and back arrow key) and hold it down.....press the power button while you are doing that until the white t-mobile screen will come on, then instead of going to the green windows mobile screen, a black screen with white writing......press the green button....it will get you in your phone but it will erase your info as a result....

Ipod disabled

Like all electronic devices, iPods sometimes freeze and become unresponsive.
Sometimes iPods lock up when they're dropped on the ground or come in contact with water, but less destructive accidents may also cause them to stop working.
All versions of the iPod have a way to reset their hardware should they stop playing music or refuse to turn off.

Check the "Hold" switch on the top case of your iPod to be sure it isn't activated.
An iPod will appear frozen and unresponsive if this feature is activated.
A lock symbol will appear on your iPod's screen if it is in Hold mode.
Switch the "Hold" button on and off once. Place one finger on the "Menu" button and another on the center button.

Press both buttons at the same time and hold them for up to 8 seconds.
Release the "Menu" and center buttons once the Apple logo appears on your iPod's screen.
Try releasing the buttons and pressing and holding them a second time if the logo does not appear, as it can sometimes take several tries to reset a severely frozen iPod.
Press and hold the top button and the center "Home" button on a frozen and unresponsive iPod touch to reset it.
Hold the buttons for at least 10 seconds and wait for the Apple logo to appear on the screen, then release the buttons.
Connect your iPod to its powerblock or a computer if it is still frozen.
Wait 5 minutes and then try to reset it.
Sometimes an iPod can appear frozen when its battery runs out and just needs a few minutes of power to start working again.

I dropped my sidekick touch 4g in the toilet

if water was clean, LOL
put phone in oven.
battery out first. dry it by hand. leave cover off. (keep battery cool)
1: set oven to AZ temp, 120F.
2: check it carefully with a real thermometer, not stove dial.
3: bake for 1hr.
fixed.
if dirty clean it with Alcohol with fine brush then do above.

My tmobile cell phone "memoir" don't do

Your mobile touch screen may has one of two problems only:1- A problem in the mobile firmware(and this means that you have to re install the firmware of your mobile)
2- A problem in the mobile touch screen Hardware(and that means you have to change the touch screen itself of your mobile)
First,do the first solution ,then ..if it does'nt work ..that means you must do the second solution.

My touch screen doesn't work!!! I've never ever dropped it in water, it litterally has ZERO water damage. And allthough I've dropped it, it has never been through any serious accidents. But yesterday my...

Pull the battery and put it back. Best bet is if you're within buyers remorse period get it replaced if your device was purchased new you should have 1 year manufacturer warranty that will cover frozen screen as long as no water damage or noticeable physical damage.

My tmobile dash freezes every time i try to start.

Turn the handheld off, hold the two soft keys (the dashes to the left and right of the phone buttons) hold the power button for 1-2 seconds and then release the soft keys. It should prompt you to clear storage. The “send” button is considered as the green phone button.

How to Hard Reset a T-Mobile Dash with operating system: 1. Select Start
2. Select Accessories
3. Clear Storage
4. Type in 1234
5. Select Yes

if this helps please rate the posting..thanks

T mobile dash

This happen to me more than once, the latest today (may 25 08)at 9pm. Tmobile will tell you how sorry they are and that's about it. I am on my second dash and second battery.
Try to hold both top keys (between call green and hung up red) while you are pressing on the shut off switch for 2 seconds. Whe it comes back to life, everything will have erased but supposedly, the phone will be like new.
I am collecting names and emails of people who are fed up with the Dash and Tmobile. Write to me [email protected]

How do you fix a frozen dash

It's actually a pretty easy fix, but it may take a few tries before you get it right. Start by taking out Sim card and battery, after a few seconds, but the battery back in. Then hold down the 2 softkeys (with the dash's on them) together and press down on the power button for about 2 seconds. Let the power button go but not the softkeys. You should get a black screen that will instruct you to hit the Green "Go" button to restore factory settings. Once you do this the phone will reset itself. It will restart very slowly, so be patient.
