My wall heater/air unit AMANA Model PTH153A50AB the heat does not come on teh fan works

It is not switching from cooling into heating. You probably need to have a service tech look at the unit. Sorry. It could be control board or stuck reversing valve.

i have same problen don't know what to do HELP!!

PLEASE CHECK THERMOSTAT SETTING +29 AND ALSO MODE"HEAT". STILL PROBLEM CHECK THE HEATING SENSOR IS NOT OPENED. BY A OHMS METER CHECK THE SENSOR. iF ANY READING IN OHMS IT'S O.KAY.

see if you can find a new board the power failure fried it

is the breaker large enough for the unit? this could be the compressor locking up if if it a heat pump style, or sticking thermostat..

when is it the last time you cleaned the unit and changed the filters? it may be working good but you need to maintain the unit...clean all filters and see if you can vacum alll parts especially the condensing unit (you may need air pressure) can you move the unit to outside so you can clean it good? if you can use air or water pressur to clean it after you cover the lectrical parts. Good luck. (save your money this unit need cleaning only)

I need more info. Is this a split system, packaged, or ptac. Heat pump or electric heat strip?
