I have a Apollo Horizon 2 overhead projector that I found in the closet at my office and I do not know how to use it. Can you help me. I have never used an overhead before.

overheating. clean out the projector with canned air and check the fans for operation. reset the settings for factory default. if you replaced the lamp recently, reset the lamp timer through the menu.

i believe it's with the clip on the right side, but also look at the rear and bottom.

How long the lamp works for? Check if cooling fan is rotating. Overheating can be the cause of premature lamp failure.

I have an Apollo Ventura 4000 overhead projector. The Image is distorted and I can't seem to get is straightened out. How to i fix this problem?

Yours has a three element vari-focal lens system... is the bottom lens missing maybe?

I mean it's a really BASIC projector... is the "reflecting mirror" loose or out of place?

RBE or the RainBow Effect is a common phenomenon experienced by most projectors - generally worsens over time because of slower moving parts inside projector - by the sound of it the color wheel inside your projector could well be slowing down but this effect is quite common and in some people more than others...

there's a fresnel lens inside the projector that might be upside down. try flipping it over.

Hi! This is a pretty common problem with overhead projectors. At the top of the arm that's over the unit, there should be a lens unit. The unit needs to be rotated so that one lens points down, and one lens points towards the screen. Once the lens is rotated properly, the lens unit is moved up or down in order to focus. There's usually a knob to turn to move the lens up or down.
