Jensen vm9224bt Stays on all the time unless you switch off manually also has no audio

I have an 05. The extra plug from the factory harness is for the steering wheel controls. Leave it unplugged. I just installed the same stereo.

SOURCE: This question is still unanswered to this day, Does anyone know for POSITIVE how to cure the parking brake issue on the Jensen VM9224BT?

The Pink wire is negatively switched wire in the green plug, this should be cut and it should function all the time it's on.
So when you put the brake on it grounds that wire and shuts the screen off (safety)
If that doesn't work it will be switched by applied 12v.

I haven't looked at what other solutions say, that's just what I see from the diagram
