I have a Nelson EZ Pro. The programs will run but I can't get a manual zone to run. When I put the system to manual the screen shows zone 1 blinking. When it stops blinking the water doesn't start.

Let me answer your second question first. The rain sensor should take a day or two to dry out, it is supposed to duplicate drying of the earth. It is, however, adjustable so it requires more rain to shut off and comes back on quicker.
Your timer may be operating properly but you may have a faulty control valve for Zone 2. In many systems, there are control valves for each zone.

It sounds like you have a double program in your system. Suggest you take the battery out for several minutes and then reprogram it. Depending on how many zones you are running, I would shuggest you use the A zone and not do anything to the B and C zones.

SOURCE: hunter pro C will not allow all zones to water.

The fact that you are getting no error message indicates that programming is not right, or there is electrical short between timer and sprinkler solenoid:

With all digital timers, it is important to clear memory before starting, and then double-check there are no conflicts in programming.
Page 22-23 of the manual has quick-check procedure for identifying shorts that would cause problems.
Check outlet with circuit analyzer to check for correct polarity and grounding.
Google search Hunter Pro C manual to download searchable pdf manual
Keep in mind also that digital timers are susceptible to line noise, and power surge. Simple power outage can disable digital timer. There are no replacement parts.
That's why I recommend good old fashion 14-day repeat-cycle mechanical sprinkler timer with fewer features, but replaceable parts.

Nelson turf EZ Pro 8300 one zone does not work, what can I do?

if you have 24 Volts AC on solenoid and the valve does not open, but opens manually, then the valve diaphragm is bad. You can test this by swapping wire at timer with a known good one. If the known good one will not open valve, repair it or better replace it.. I have found that buying a new valve and swapping parts is cheaper than buying individual parts. If you decide to replace diagram when reinstalling screws place screw in hole and turn to left, you will feel screw rise up and then fall, this is position you need to in as the screw will back in the original threads and not cut ones. do not tighten screw fully down and repeat for the remain 5 and the tighten in criss cross pattern

Sometimes you need to go into the programs manager and after identifying the problem program, right click on Administrator and choose Run as Administrator. Make sure to check and see that the drivers installed correctly. You should see a small message on the lower right screen if it did or did not once you attempt to install it. Best Wishes.

I have the Nelson Controller EZ Pro. Jr. 8006. AC is OK, Batteries are OK. but I lose set program after a day or two for no reason. Please help Thank you

Are you having power blinks? A real problem in my area. If so, replace the lithium battery inside. A little more hassle to get to than the AA batteries (but not impossible), but quite possibly the problem.

Can you give me a simple way to program my system? I have two different zones, and would like to run each zone 30 minutes Mondays and Fridays. Do I set zone one on A and zone 2 on B. What about C?

Do you have the manual? Just program two zones for the 'A' program. Don't need B and C. Set the time, date and all that, then set the days you want to water to 'On' . Then set the zones you are using like 1 and 2 and put in the amount of time you want it to water, like 30 minutes. That's all there is to it! Let me know... I'll help you.

A Nelson controller won't accept programming commands

Look for a 'master reset' in the manual. This should put everything back to 'default setting'. Then start over in your programming. Don't forget to save after you program your parameters.
