I have run the diagnostics according to instructions and re-calibrated the speed so that when I choose 20 km/h the calibration test shows it running between 20.1km/h and 19.9 km/h. the potentiometer is now at the end of it's travel However, if I set the treadmill running and measure the actual distance the belt moves using a surveyor's distance wheel, the wheel only shows about 980m when the display claims the belt moved 1000m. Clearly this means the speed is also wrong, assuming the timing is accurate, ie the machine is over optimistic. So my question is not so much about how to get the belt speed to match the speed I choose but how to get the belt speed to really be what it claims to be.
1) Please use electronic spray for electronic and LUBE the small POT in the electronic Board.
2) Adjust the Speed sensor, and test it, and see is ok or faulty, clean it and ajust 1mms near of magnet. otherwise replace it.

hi,
There are two possibilities for this problem
1. Check the speed sensor on near the motor pulley. Remove the sensor and clean it and re-fix it. then make a try. if problem remains then
2. The motor speed controller is faulty. There is an IGBT for controlling the motor speed. If it get shorted the motor will run it its high speed.
Be sure before opening the treadmill remove the power.
ok

you must have the speedpulse conected with out it conected it will not callabrate

Moat likely a problem with the motor control board. See treadmilldoctor.com

I encountered the same problem but was able to fix it. Just don't know if it's just temporary. Go to tools, control panel, other, set up wizard, tap yes, tap the second button before cancel, keep on clicking to the right direction until the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 appears. Tap the center of each number until blinking stops, save settings. For the first few steps you may use the jog dial found on the left side of the phone if the touch screen does not follow your tappings.
