Back up your old phone to your Google acct then just log in on your new phone and sync it to your Google acct. It should update all of your contacts. You will have to go to play store and download any apps you want. You should just have to log into the app to restore any info you had in the app.
Maybe you can try mobile phone transfer to help you transfer data from your old lg phone to new android phone. With its help, you can directly transfer data like contacts, text messages, call logs, photos, videos, etc between them.

So if you sync your old one to OUTLOOK on your PC, I would simply install the new Activesync and create a new partnership for your Ipaq and the data should be transferred.

Sadly the chances are not high. the bootload screen tells you that Palm OS has not even loaded, assuming you have tried a soft reset this would suggest that the devices memory is either inaccessible or damaged. Anything you try is going to be a slim chance but what do you have to lose by trying? If you reset your palm with it plugged in to your PC via a USB cable there's a small chance you may force it to act as a USB memory reader, as such it will show up in My Computer as a drive or if you have a memory card in the phone it will show up as 2 drives. I cannot stress enough that this is a slim chance though. If you are familiar with telnet and serial data communications it is stall possible to access a palm this way and possibly find your data, however this is a very involved procedure that will require a steep learning curve if you don't know what I'm talking about and still represents a very slim chance.

plug your G1 to your PC via a USB cable that came with it .., once you plug it in you'll get a notification entitled USB connected .. select it and then choose mount ... once thats done open your My computer icon , you'll see an exrta drive that wasn't there be4 somethig like K or M .. open that and you'll see all the content of your SD card .. copy and past everything to a folder anywhere in your computer ... then all you gotta do is replace the SD card , repeat the same proccess but then time copy everything back to your new SD card .
