YAHOO will not delete items as checked. Also, I cannot respond to emails and s.yimg keeps popping up. What is it and why. Opening email is very slow then cannot respond.

the above problems were corrected by going to webmail.com and typing in the email address that was malfunctioning. The inbox was displayed as a preview pane and I checked the boxes of the email that was clogging the system deleted them and exited. I then signed on to my email address and downloaded my remaining messages without any problems. Hope this helps others.

yea just go and delete your email account.....unless your internet is yahoo dsl in that case you have to switch carriers.

did u check ur user-id n password to b correct..retype them..see if it had been changed..!!
u may hv a slow connection..
may b d spam filtering is preventing..
the windows firewall is limiting the site..
may b ur antivirus is doing so..
some spyware/trojan horse also may play foul..
sometime it also depends upon the browser u r using..
may b it is black-listed or restricted by using 'content advisor' (in case of ie) in ur computer by some user or the above..
may b it is being filtered by the 'phishing filter'..
there may b possibilities that the site may contain 'active content'..
or may b 'ssl' or 'tls' versions r nt enabled..
try reinstalling os..

i can sign into my email.. but cant get my emails.. it tells me how many emails i have but freezes up and says that it's not responding.. but i can check emails on a different yahoo email account without any problems???

Another popular product is ccleaner. They both will remove cluttered temporary internet files and cleanup cookies. This may help your slowness problem. Another thing to check is your DNS. I like to add Google's server 8.8.8.8 into the dns settings.
