Decrease the screen resolution of your computer to the minimum possible value and check.
Probably the projector does not support the resolution of the laptop. With a lower resolution it might work.
Ok you need to replace the thermo sensor on this now the thing is the replacment is not something "just anyone can do" Now what you can do is this you can take it into BEST BUY witch are EXPERTS to help you replace the sensor in this.
But for a end user to dig inside of this would not be wise. I would highly recommend a expert fix this due to the sensor. The sensor is on the ballast board.

I am experiencing a similar problem with mine. It will cycle on and off without actually powering up fully and then after about the 4th or 5th time it will shut off completely and the lamp indicator light on top illuminates. i am reading in other blogs that this is a design flaw on this unit. let me know if you have found any fixes.
open it up check all the connections memory and add in cards for security. connect it and try again. Sometimes the bios battery can cause wierd problems, they are usually a 2032 battery on the motherboard. replace it if it's suspect. I would then look at the power supply. Big heavy capitors don't like being dropped, (neither do hard drives for that matter).
If it's getting no signal, make sure the monitor is set for the correct input. This would be either analog (if your cord has blue ends) or digital (if the connectors are white). Depending on wt yhat your monitor is, a button on the monitor will help you set that. If it's set for the correct input signal, then switch out a different cable to see if perchance you have a bad cable out of the box. If there is another PC or laptop setting around, plug your monitor into that to make sure it's good and maybe even plug THAT monitor into yours to make sure there is nothing wrong with your video card. Let me know what transpires. If this takes care of things, please help me out by rating it accordingly.
It will work only if your TV has a Video OUT either in Composite RCA, S-video or in some other form although not all TV models have this feature.
Alternately,
you can hook up your projector to an old VCR which definitely will have
a Video OUT and use its built-in TV tuner. Of course you have likewise
to connect a cable/aerial to the RF IN of the VCR.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Good luck and kind regards.
You may need to enable the wireless signal within the router settings, but you will have to connect to it via an RJ45 lan cable, as you would of when you first set it up.
Type in the routers ip address in your internet browser and get into the routers settings that way.
