Type "Muskota fireplaces" into your computer's search engine and see whether you can find a dealer or a manufacturer.
You should be able to.
God bless your efforts.
Sorry but this is a comment and not helpful at all. 99/100 the first thing that someone would do is to try to query a search engine. Even a basic user knows where to start. If the user is able to find this forum to post his question, that is most likely where he found this site after not having any luck with a search.

I spent an hour or so trying to find repair parts for this unit. The company that makes the "guts" is SANY, which is out of China. Unfortunately, their primary business seems to be forklifts, so anyone that carries their parts in North America carries the large machinery parts. I was unable to find any parts for these fireplaces even searching the module part numbers.
Long story short, after spending quite a bit of time on this, I deemed it "no replaceble parts" and disassembled it. Turns out there is one thing you can try. There is a thermal sensor that can get dirty and give a false "overheated" reading to shut the unit down. I cleaned that, and tightened all the leads to the blower motor/heater and control board, and it seems to have patched it for a while as it's currently working.
I have a muskoka electric fire place model mfb282 that would not turn on we went inthe back and the red wire to swich was burned so we replaced end. Still wont work should we try replace switch? gonna try replace fuses next but wondering if you have had experience with motherboard where can i get one or are the worth too much

Here we go folks, the problem is a failed capacitor on the circuit board.
It is called C10 which is printed on the circuit board, it is located on the left side of the silver heat sink and above the doughnut shaped coil, you should replace it with the same or one catagory higher in voltage.(1000 mircofarad 16 Volt)
You should have some soldering experience to replace and please pay attention to the polarity. (Pos and Neg.)
