SOURCE: elongated toilet doesn't fit where a round toilet was installed

Hi. There are toilets designed to accept a round seat and there are other toilets designed to accept an elongated seat. The primary difference is that the round seat fits a round bowl and the elongated seat fits an elongated bowl.

I recommend that you return the elongated seat and exchange it for a round toilet seat. good luck

SOURCE: toilet backs up after use.

The system does not work, as you describe, you MUST use the unit's pump lever as the intake and removal are part of it's function. Use sea water to flush, the system is designed for that.

Aqua piston toilet keeps running....

Kohler customer service has provided a free seal (yellow) to replace the original seal (red)on the bottom of the Aqua Piston. The yellow seal is a big improvement over the red seal, but the toilet tank still leaks. I am ready to return the toilet to Home Depot.

The black cap inside my toilet is leaking. Is there a seal? Does the black cap come off?

If the black cap that you are referring to is a tank bolt:

If you cannot tighten them, then they will need to be replaced. Turn off the water supply valve, flush the toilet and bail out as much residual water as possible. Remove the old bolts and separate the tank from the bowl. Replace the old tank gasket and refasten the tank with new bolts, properly placing rubber washers symetrically. An added precaution that I use is (after drying the inside of the tank well) is applying a dab of clear elastomeric sealant to the top of each bolt head, working it past the edges of the bolt heads onto the tank. Allow the sealant to cure as per directions. Open the supply valve slowly and allow the tank to fill. Inspect the tank bolt holes for leaks

Received no instruction manual with tank and broken plastic nut

The piece you are referring to is the water inlet to the tank. go to your local hardware store and buy a new one. It installs on the bottom of the tank. Use an adjustable wrench. Nothing on the toilet needs to be extremely tight. In fact after you put the was ring on the bottom of the toilet. Drop in the closet flange bolts in the closet flange (brass bolts with a t on one end) do not tighten them extremely tight the toilet will break.

Coleman Powermate keeps stalling!

1. Turn off the gas

Remove the fuel bowl and the brass jet in the bottom of the carb. The bolt / cap nut for the fuel bowl has 2 holes in it make sure they are clean. Also make sure the pin hole in the jet is clean along with the holes in the side of the jet. (daylight check of pin hole)

Usually on the bottom of the gas tank there is a fuel bowl. Remove the bowl and dump contents making sure it is clean then re-install the fuel bowl for the tank.

Go back and reinstall the carb jet

Now lets flush the fuel system.
Get something for catching fuel uder the carb then momentarily turn on the fuel to flush the system and catch the fuel.

Turn the supply fuel off and reinstall the filter bowl and cap nut.

Turn on fuel supply.

Time to it test now.
