I've spent a few hours trying to program a couple of remotes I have here. One a Sony DVD remote, and one a Panasonic DVD remote. And am trying all the codes suggested. But you know what? The biggest piece of missing information is... what is the process, per remote control model, for entering the codes? Most mention pushing the "set" button and waiting for lights to blink twice near the device switch meant to control the device. But - the remotes do NOT contain "set" or other buttons noted. They do not even contain LIGHTS! The best solution is... to go directly to eBay, find a remote noted as compatible with the device to be controlled (in my case, a Sanyo DP26640 TV) and spend all of $11.50 (includes shipping) for a brand new remote that will undoubtedly work for your device. In 5 days, I'll be using my new remote, and it will probably outlast the television!
-Is it original remote...? If so then the remote need to replace new one.
-If it's a universal remote that you bought separate
then possibly input wrong code of the TV model. If so then try again.
Good luck

You need some verification first.
Testing remote control:
The remote control puts out IR (InfraRed) signal that human eyes cannot see, to find out if the remote is sending out the signal or not you just point the remote at the digital camera's Lens (Digital Camera can detect IR), you should see flashing light on the camera's screen when any one of the remote button is pushed. If you do see the flashing on the camera, then the problem is in the TV IR receiver or the main logic board; more troubleshooting with scope will be needed to look at the signals.

If the VCR button lights up when you press the Power button, you are not in the correct mode to operate the TV. If the remote is programmed correctly, when you are in SAT mode, you can press the large RED button to turn your receiver off/on. The RED TV button will turn your TV off/on. I have provided links to program your remote to your TV again. I have also provided codes for your Sanyo TV.

Hello 1. Turn on a device (e.g., VCR or DVD Player) and, if applicable, insert media, (e.g., video cassette or disc). NOTE: Please read steps 2 to 6 completely before proceeding. Highlight or write down the codes and device you wish to program before moving on to step 2. 2. On the remote control, press a device key once (i.e., AUX or TV). NOTE: Use the AUX key to program control of an Audio Amplifier or Receiver, a DVD Player, a Home- Theater-In-A-Box Device, a PVR (or DVR), or a VCR. 3. Press and hold Setup until the selected mode key blinks twice, then release Setup. 4. Locate the code for your device in Manufacturer's Codes on the back of this user guide. Brands are listed in alphabetical order with the most popular codes listed first. 5. Enter the first four-digit code for your device. If you perform this procedure correctly, the selected mode key will blink twice. NOTE: If you enter an invalid code, the selected mode key will display one long blink and exit the programming mode. Repeat steps 2 to 5 with a valid code. 6. Aim the remote control at your device and press Power once. The device should turn off. If it does not respond, repeat steps 2 to 6, trying each code listed for your works. If it still does not work, try Searching For Your Code. NOTE: If the device does not have a

Unfortunately the bandwidths of remotes often crossover. You can put tape over the ir sensor on the ac.
