  2. Press Down arrow key until you see the word Picture, then press the Right arrow key,
  3. Press Down arrow key until you see Mode, then press the Right arrow key,
  4. Press Down arrow key until you see Power Up, then press the Right arrow key,
  5. Press Down arrow key until you see Home, then press the Enter key,
  6. Press Menu button four times to exit out from the OSD Menu.
***Showroom mode is designed for retailers to display the TV and to protect from shoppers changing the settings that are predetermined for shelf display environment.***.

Q. Why does my TV display "No Signal" or "Channel not in List"? A. Channel search needs to run the very first time of use or after the default settings are loaded from the OSD menu. The following steps will guide you through the process.

  2. Press Menu button from the remote,
  3. Press Down arrow key until you see Setup, then press the Right arrow key,

  5. Press Down arrow key until you see Auto Channel Search, then press the Right arrow key,
  6. Press Down arrow key until you see Air (for antenna; select Cable if you have cable service), then press the Right arrow key. The scan process will start.
  7. Wait until the process is complete then you will be able to select the channel you like to watch.

How do I add the HD channels picked up my HD antenna to the master channel list on my Visio TV?

Hello, with the set on, press the menu button, move the cursor down till the "Tuner" section is hi-lighted, click on it. Then the first selection is "Tuner Mode" click on it, the choose "Antenna" click on it. Then move to the "Auto Channel Scan" and click on it, and let it set all your channels. when done, just exit menu and change channels as desired. you can go to page 39 in your manual for these instructions: Tuner Mode
Select Cable or Antenna depending
upon which equipment you have
attached to the DTV / TV Input.
Auto Channel Search
Automatically search for TV channels
that are available in your area. Be
sure to first select the correct tuner
mode above. The TV will search for
analog and digital channels. When the
search is done, press EXIT to begin
watching your programs. thanks, Terry

How do i get the tv to search mode

Go to menu setting, there should be an option for "autoprogram". Select this option and let the program run completely through. This will add all available channels, and delete all channels with no signal.

Tv will not recognise an antenna

Try to search for the channels using the antenna directly into the TV (remove the splitter) if you can pick up all the channels, then there is a problem with the splitter, if you still can't get anything, then most likely the tuner in the TV will be at fault.

Channel missing

When you do your channel search, sometimes you will be able to add/ delete channels. See if you are able to add your channel 10. Might even be in your channel guide in your menu

No channels on list

You have to search for the channels. Go to your setup menu, and go to setup, then select TV, then do auto channel search. It may or may not have to be set on tuner to get to the TV options.

TV Tuner

You need to go to the setup and let the TV autoprogram channels into its memory. This is a benifit in two ways because for one the set does the programming for you but, at the same time will activly search for digital channels on your cable system or antenna which ever you are using.

Olevia/Syntax 20" Television

Make sure that the channels that you are not getting audio on are not HD or high definition channels. Also make sure that they are not digital channels. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your TV, so rest assured it is correctable iether in the menu or you may want to perform another auto search for your tuner.
