I have a everbilt sump pump with a 3 year warranty. The pump was purchased on 3/8/15 . I can't take it to Home Depot because it has been used. I would like to know who do I contact for this warranty problem I have. Model and item #in the pic.
Thank you

Hello Mr Johnson. I will help. I am timer expert at fixya. Fixya answers question. We are not home depot or warranty carrier for grunfos. Here are some ideas: 1) Buy another pump at home depot and return defect in new package 2) Talk to manager at Home Depot. 3) Check if outlet has power. Plug recirc pump into different outlet. 4) Check if override lever is set to OFF, because pump will not run when lever is in OFF position: Here is photo I took showing positions for lever: http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-recirculation-system.html#lever 5) These devices are prone to surge event. Nearby lightning strike can burn out any electrical device by energizing wires. The surge can follow any path seemingly random trying to find path down to ground. Add a comment and say what happens. 2) Home Depot sells GE heaters made by Rheem. I am assuming that serial number starts with 1209, and that year of manufacture is 09 for 2009.
3) These water heaters have glass vial that breaks when combustion chamber experiences overheating due to dirty combustion parts, clogged air intake, exposure to flammable vapor. http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-repair-Rheem-TRD.html
4) Water heater warranties are usually first-year: full parts, labor and tank. After first year: parts and tank but no labor. Warranty may be pro-rated and the value diminishes as water heater ages. http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-maintain-water-heater.html
5) Warranty may not apply is customer has not followed installation and maintenance as shown in product manual, such as checking anode rod, and yearly service by trained technician.
I have a 22" Toro Recycler Lawn Mower with front wheel drive. After many years the original tires wore out, primarily the left front. After I replaced the wheels the front wheels kept falling off. I learned that Toro uses an unusual two layer washer on the front wheels. You need a) either an exact replacement for this washer OR b) two separate washers. The hole of the washer is 3/8" Everbilt has the smaller flat washer PN 637-009 and the larger washer can be found in the Everbilt PN 281-293. The SMALLER washer must be placed closer to the frame, the larger washer is closer to the wheel. Once this was done it ran perfectly. Later I found pieces of the original washers in the grass. Toro had the replacement washer available on their website, I was just in a hurry to get the mower back up and running. The Everbilt washers were purchased at Home Depot.
I'm not sure what was damaged, but sump pump switches are available at Home Depot & Lowes. In many cases, the switch is wired separately, anyway, making it somewhat simple to replace.
