Check with the folks at the yahoo group "wefixit" -- you may find a bobbin case there from a machine someone has parted out, or you can part out your machine. And/or check with Ron Anderson at A1 sewing: [email protected] -- he's always been helpful and has a good reputation for fast service, and telling you if something really isn't likely available and/or a machine isn't worth fixing. I've "known" him on the old usenet group alt.sewing for 20+ years, and he's always been helpful.

Check to make sure you are using the correct needle for the machine, that it is a brand-new needle, and that is installed facing the correct direction. Other than that, it's quite possible the machine was knocked out of time and needs service.
