I suspected this to be the case, but the mouse should be plug and play supported. Most operating systems have the proper drivers included and your computer should recognize it. If it doesn't, contact their customer service.

there may be a problem with the tvs remote sensor. most universal remotes you dont even have to enter any codes you just have to follow the same steps to enter the code but instead of entering a code all you have to do is press the channel up button after following all other steps, just keep pressing up until it turns the channel on the tv then press enter or similar button after it changes the channel and this should lock in the code without entering a specific code.And if all other remotes only half the buttons work on if it happens with every universal remotes then it probably a problem with the remote sensor or the tv . I've had similiar problem on my M-25 MP3 player. You just have to try unplugging and plugging it again till the computer recognizes it.

Or click on the apple in the top left, select system preferences, then select NETWORK, choose your connection that you are using and hit TCP/IP.
