What is bios master password on Asus m32bf - ASUS Computers & Internet

If u have an administrator password go to bios setup and change the user password and HDD password. otherwise the first option
1.click esc on the screen where the hdd password is asking, u get master password on the hdd manufacturer site.
2.Replace the Bios

Master password for what?? If the bios or windows has a password then it was set by someone after purchase, as far as i can tell there is no default password for the bios on this computer, and the windows password would be whatever someone set it to.

if you contact asus and give them the model number along with the warranty number they will either give you a master bios password or take it in and reset it themselves

bios password reset methods depend on model & how its designed,
in laptops cmos battery reset will not remove bios password.
you can reset bios passwords by:
1. Entering master password, if it shows password disabled with Error CODE after failed attemps,

2. shorting bios reset jumper located anywhere near the ram slots in motherboard
3. Re flashing the Bios Chip

Contact Asus for a one-time BIOS password.

Using a computer with Internet access, download the files from these WEB sites and create a bootable CD disc or copy to the USB memory stick to run them.

If you set BIOS Passford, for some reasons it doesnt bipass, the only way to reset is to open laptop (Disassemble) where you need to take RTC (Real Time Clock)Battery for couple of min and reinstall. This process make all the settings in the BIOS to RESET. Hope this help.....

Unlike desktop BIOS, you can't just remove the battery or move a jumper to reset ASUS notebook password.
What sounds to me like the most feasible choice would be: contact asus and prove you are the legal owner of the notebook and they can supply you with a "mastercode" specific to your laptop and serial number to unlock the bios.

The only thing that a bios update would do would update the bio your password info should stay the same maybe your not typing it right try typing with or without cap lock
