The activation code it's asking you for is for Netflix. You Need to go into your Netflix account page from your computer and activate your blu-ray player as a device that is authorized to access your Netflix account. It will give you a code which you'll then have to enter into your tv to activate.

maybe this can help. If not, please supply your TV model.

You need to register with Netflix online first to create a login and password.

Here`s how to:

>> On your computer go to netflix.com then click signup or signup.netflix.com
>> Fill all the necessary information they needed.
>> Purchase any plan they offer after you created an account(Optional as you can avail a trial version for 7 days)

Now go to your TV

>> Turn the TV on then hit menu
>> Go to My apps menu
>> Select Netflix
>> Sign in with your username and password
>> Take note of the code
>> Go to your computer and login to netflix.com/activate and type in the code to activate.
>> Go back to the TV select finish to start the service

Important:

Make sure your TV is connected to the internet, either wired or wireless

Here are the three methods to connect wireless on your TV:

Scan and connect

>> Turn on the TV
>> Go to Menu
>> Go to Network settings
>> Select easy then scan for networks
>> Select and connect

Connect using WPS

Press the WPS button(Padlock with signal wave) on your TV`s side panel then on your router.

Type and select the appropriate settings:
SSID: Name or the Wireless network
Security: Either the WEP, WPA, WPA2 or WPA+WPA2
Passphrase/Passkey: Type in the password

SOURCE: I'm trying to install the netflix app on my smart tv but its saying you don't have any devices, its frustrating

Make sure that your "smart tv" is properly hooked up to your wi fi network. If properly connected and tv is working with other sites then contact Netflix directly and ask for their assistance with their application that is for what ever the reason just not working.

I already have netflix account, but just put rook stick on another non smart tv rook wants me to start another netflix account, how do i sign into the existing netflix account ?

the base account allows 2 simulations connections
eg : streaming 2 TVs same time.
to long in use your user name and PW
that is all there is to that.
no sign in to your account, unless, you like giving them free money?
no rooku does not
netflix, memorizes your device names .
so it can stream based on what it wants and needs
that means you need to sign in one time,
on each new device. used.
TV , rooku , DVD smart player. etc.
all are devices and very different.

so does vudu and hulu, i have all 3.

Easy Ways to Get Netflix & Other Video Streaming Services On Your TV Smart TVs: If you've bought a television from LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Vizio or any number of other manufacturers in the past few years, it might be an Internet-enabled Smart TV offering access to services like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu Plus at the very least Blu-ray Players: Like some televisions, many Blu-ray players are now "smart," offering access to streaming services. How to get from Netflix back to tv

Signing up
To use Netflix you must first sign up. This can be done through the various devices you can watch it through, or you can go online and do it from the Netflix website. As this is a monthly service, you will need to enter in your card details.
The process is self-explanatory. You will need to choose a password and email address to gain access to Netflix on any device and then fill out various other fields. Try to pick a difficult password or risk others 'borrowing' your account.
If your finances are good and everything checks out, you should be up and running in no time. If not, you should contact Netflix and get the creases ironed out. Smart TV Got a smart TV? There's a good chance you can watch Netflix without any external device. Most, if not all, smart TVs will have a Netflix app either pre-installed or one that can be downloaded. If the app is pre-installed already, you just have to find it and run it. There should be a button that takes you to a TV's

I have a Proscan TV how do I set up Netflix for it

It would depend on if it is a smart tv or a standard tv (meaning it is a tv and no applications, network etc are on it). If you have a standard tv you would need internet and a device to play your netflix such as Xbox 360, Xbox one,Amazon Firetv, PS3, PS4, etc. Then you sign into netflix on those devices.

In the event your tv is a smart tv and has a netflix app on it you need to connect either wire or wireless internet to the tv before you can sign into the netflix app.
