This isn't a calcium issue. It's the product. I'm on my 5th machine. I love the coffeemaker, but every 8-10 months this problem occurs. Contact Hamiltonbeach and give them your product number. Since it's obviously a recurring problem they'll replace your unit...no questions asked.

SOURCE: brews finw but won't keep coffee hot

Could be the thermostat sensor, or the warm mode heating element, or the section of the control module for the warm mode. The details are model dependent.

If the coffee maker is out of warranty, it may not be worth servicing.

SOURCE: hamilton beach brew station leaks

chances are, you're filling the machine up with too much water. look at the water resivoir and see if there's a hole somewhere toward the top or a marking indicating the water limit.

I have a Hamilton Beach Flex Brew that I love but it has started leaking out a lot of water from the bottom of the unit. I tried to take it to Bed Bath and Beyond and the told me to contact you.

Hello, Debby -

Did a sales person at Bed, Bath and Beyond really tell you to contact Fixya.com? Or, were you told to contact Hamilton Beach, the manufacturer of your coffee maker?

See the warranty information from Hamilton Beach here:
https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/warranty

This is the link to the Hamilton Beach Contact Us web page:
https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/contact

If you can, I suggest you make a telephone call to speak with a real person about your problem with the coffee maker.

I hope you still have the sales receipt for the coffee maker, to verify it is still covered by warranty.

Best wishes.

These machines needs regular dealer service, but of course they don't tell you that when you buy them.
