virus is the cause. You are going to have to put in your windows cd and boot from it. Then do a "repair" and hopefully recovery your system if not you are going to have to do a total system wipe.

Plug in a monitor to the VGA connector on the side. The white screen usually indicates a failed inverter. By using an external monitor you will cut down the likely causes.

disable the on-board video card in the bios features, that should take care of the issue.

There may be a setting in your BIOS for your video output.

If you were originally using the onboard VGA video output, there may be an option in the BIOS to switch to PCI output.

Do you see the BIOS splash screen or anything?
Try booting into safe mode by pressing F* as soon as you power on the computer. If the monitor works, then it is a bad driver. Roll back to a previous restore point, boot to last known good coonfiguration. Last Known good configuration is available from the same as the safe mode screen.

Did u changed RAM and SMPS once? if not change once RAM ans SMPS.

Hi,
this will be the onboard VGA adaptor ( driver Missing Corrupt ) there are a couple of things to Try.
1:- remove power from Computer, Locate the Cmos battery ( small round battery that stores Bios Info ) remove battery for 10 seconds. replace. power up and boot.

2:- If your computer has an onboard graphics card Slot. AGP/Pci-express. add an additional card, and attempt to run on that card. to boot the computer, enabling you to re-install the corrupt/missing vga driver.

Remove the onboard battery out for about 30 minutes, this will cause the bios to go back to the default settings!
Or look on the board for CMOS RAM clear.
Pins 1 & 2 are normal mode and pins 2 & 3 will Clear the BIOS.
Here is some info from Compaq.

Firstly the keyboard does blink, but do you hear 2 beeps one then another a few seconds later, if not memory or graphics fault. Are you able to start in safe mode(press F8 when pc is booting up)when menu comes up highlight 'Start windows with last known good configuration' then press enter and it should re boot. The graphics card(if it's not onboard)may need to be removed and re seated, also the memory. Also check hard disk drive ide and power cable.
