I can't get my insignia tablet to sync with my google account

It is called Google FRP and it is the details that you put into access the Google Play Store. It also there to stop theft. Just log in with your Google Account or the account of the person that bought it.

You have to be signed in with the "owner" account of the phone (the one you used to set it up) in order to factory reset it. That means if you give me your phone or Tablet, I can't reset it without you being signed in. There are random workarounds on the Internet, but they tend to get patched almost as soon as they are discovered. You'll pretty much need to know the login details for the last account to use the phone before you can reset it and create a new owner account.

Make a fresh account.

If it's telling you the tablet is locked and requesting Google credentials to continue, you can't bypass that.

That's an anti-theft feature. You'll have to have the owner of the last Google account who logged into the tablet log into it to continue.

Simply do a hard reset/factory reset for the tablet. This will return the tablet to the way it was as if you are unboxing it for the first time from the pack.
Then, you can freshly configure it with your own Google account.

if you have a google account with your mobile number locked to it you can get google to send you an access code to log into your account.

Hi click on Google chrome icon :: a page will open .top right hand corner there should be 3 vertical dots click this on .next page U should have new incognito tab click it on. you're new page Youv'gone INCOGNITO. It should let U log in with you're account. Good luck
