SOURCE: can i get a connex turbo 4400 users manual

  • Yes you can. This is actually a service manual but it covers the basics found in the users manual in the first part of the first link. Also with a service manual you can dissect the radio to perform repairs.

Connex 4600 turbo what band do I need to operate in on channel 19 citizen band

This is a 10 meter Amateur Radio. You need a license to operate it. From my research it doesn't do CB Radio Frequencies.

Here says
Frequency Range 10 Meter 28~29 MHz
https://www.walcottradio.com/connex-cx-4600-turbo-150-watt-10-meter-amateur-radio-p-2505.html

and here shows your unit doesn't go low enough

26.960-27.410 MHz This Radio Standards Specification (RSS) sets out general requirements for, and provides information on, the certification of radio apparatus that is used for the general radio service, also known as the citizens band (CB), operating in the 26.960-27.410 MHz frequency band.

Converting connex 4400 turbo to a cb

If you disable any part of the radio that does not pertain to CB then you could actually do damage to the radio. the best thing to do is leave it on the CB band and don't touch it.

How do I convert my connex 4400 turbo from 10 meter to regular cb channel. I have the module to do so, but not sure what to do with it.

Your connex should have a know with letters on it A,B,C,D,E,F, Look at the counter and set that knob to C whick should be the CB frequency.

Wanting info on my connex 4400 turbo how to peak and tune

unless you have the equipment to do this.. please take to a radio store. have them do it.. its free. or they shouldn't charge to do that service.. unless it needs a major factory alignment.
also they shouldn't take out or clip anything in the process if they do find you another place LOL..

How do i find the FM frequency for a Connex CX-4300-300 CB radio?

FM is just a form of modulation, not an actual frequency. The frequency doesn't change between any of the modes (LSB, USB, AM, FM, CW).

For example, if you are on channel 19 (27.185MHz) on AM (Amplitude Modulation,) switching to FM (Frequency Modulation) mode you would still be at 27.185MHz, but using a different form of modulation.

Can anyone explain the band knob and the pa/fm/am knob for my connex 4400 hp???

p.a. stands for public address, you need a pa horn for this. F.m. is for frequency modulation alot of ten meter radios offer this now it's mostly line of site communication if you have somebody else with fm though it sounds alot better. A.m. is amplitude modulation it's the standard way cb's have communicated since the beginning.I hope this helps.Good luck. Dan
