Well give me a little more what brand you have. Is it a stand mixer or a hand held mixer? If it is a stand mixer most of them you have to push the beater up and turn to remove it. Most hand mixers have a eject button either on top or in the front.

On Dash stand mixer, the beaters are stuck and i can't eject them

Spray some WD40 into the eject button. The wait 10 minutes and turn it upside down and spray WD40 down the side of the beaters Leave 10 minutes and try again/ If that doesn't work, you will need full disassembly

I have the 7 speed Cuisinart hand mixer and it is stuck on 1 speed is there any way to fix this??

Hi,

Please disconnect the power from the device for 5 minutes, reconnect and attempt to change the speed again.
If that does not work, please eject the beaters and attempt the change the speed with them ejected before re-adding the beaters. Thank you.

How do you eject the beaters on a hand mixer

Very Carefully! Generally, depending on the make and model there are two small ejection buttons near the beaters portion. Press HARD to make the inside locks disengage the beaters and they will fall out.

The beaters will not stay up in my Oster stand mixmaster. The eject lever will not lock them in. Can it be fixed? Or could it be that I need new beaters because they are worn out and do not fit in

wild guess turn beater as you push in to allow the beater to engage the drive, a little like gears meshing. You should be able to feel it lock into the drive.

They need to be replaced or the locking mechanism does, but in the meantime, wind some thread around the beater end and this may keep them in temporarily.

I have a Sunbeam Mixmaster from mthe 1970s,

If this mixer sits on a stand, first remove it from the stand. Turn it upside down and shine a flashlight into the right side socket to look for obstructions. When you say you swivel the head, do you mean you rotate the handle? This is how to eject the beaters after use. It may be that the ejector on the right side is stuck. If so, you will need someone with mechanical skills to disassemble & repair.

Need interior diagram of Sunbeam MixMaster Model 2486

Here's the solution. The spring controls the beater eject button. The spring is mounted on the metal shaft and is oriented so that the straight side of the spring rests along the white plastic part adjacent to the shaft, and the curved side of the spring points outward and downward so that it will rest against the case when the unit is reassembled. See photo.

How to disassemble Black & Decker MX50 PowerPro Mixer

You can remove the handle-back by gently prying the rear clips down and away. But the problem is the power boost button; it has a fork that goes down the left side and snaps over a micro-switch. You need to get that off since there is not room for all 3 buttons (eject, variable speed, and boost) to slide through the handle. A small probe inserted from the top and pushing on the left side to the rear might do it. Or just pry the boost switch upwards; that's how I got mine apart. My problem was the boost microswitch was bad and provided a poor connection. As a result, the beater only ran intermittently on regular switch positions. I solved it by bypassing the boost micro switch. The beater now only runs on the regular speeds but that's fine by me.

Good luck!
