SOURCE: Hotpoint side by side no dispensor door handle loose

Removing the door gasket would probably reveal screws to separate both shells of the door - warning: door gaskets are expensive and may be hard to find on a fridge that old, so be gentle with it.

SOURCE: Our sink is a double sink, black enamel --- one

Just a note here that this phenom does happen just like toilet tanks just crackin while you are sitting in the living room watching TV. There is no explanation for it.

While I personally would not expect any manufacturer of anything to pony up 2 years after their warrenty expired, to each his own. I do however believe it would be good public relations if they gave you a replacement.

I understand your anger and frustration but I ask to to remember that getting a Ford Mustang that is a total lemon from the factory does not equate to all Ford Mustangs being lemons or that everything Ford makes is a lemon.

Godd luck and I hope they come through for you.

SOURCE: need parts for a 30 year old jacuzzi toilet

Depending on what the innards look like, you can spend $15 at a home center like Home Depot for a toilet replacement parts kit. They're easy to install (about 30 minutes) and fix most common toilet issues.

If this won't work you might need to contact a plumbing supply company in your area. You'd be surprised what they have in inventory....

I have a swirlbath whirlpool tub and the air hose fell off the push button switch on the side of the tub. The tub is 19 years old and the switch is against the wall side of the tub. How do I hook it u

Yo Dennis,

When I had to replace a switch on my unit I had the same problem. Jacuzzi uses double sided tape to hold the switches in place and they are a bear to get off. Try some dental floss or fishing line under the switch body to "saw" through the tape and lift the switch out. Maybe use a hair dryer first to try to soften the adhesive, but at 19 years it may be rock ??.

You may have to pry the switch out (!!) with a screwdriver (rag underneath) and the old plastic may grenade. A new one may be needed.

Be prepared for very little slack in the air line. I had a hard time reconnecting mine and ended up having to add a couple inches of tubing with adapters. No fun. The switches are mounted from below at the factory, so slack is not an issue.

All the best.

The casing around the jet on the tub side is cracked and is causing water to leak on the outside of the tub. This has happened to three of the 10 jets. What can I do to fix this?

Cheap plastic fatigues with heat . Silicone will work but will not keep the crack from continuing. The fix depends upon what type of plastic you have . It is likely a polyester like fiberglass in which case you can use regular fiberglass to fixit . Rough up the outside with 80 grit , brush in fiberglass resin ( don't forget to mix in hardener) lay in glass material , repeat until built up . Repair the front with a good "gelcoat " repair kit which allows you to mix match color.. sand with 220 , then 600, then 800, then 1500, then 3000 , polish with automotive whit polishing compound , wax

We just purchased a nine year old condominium that has a Jacuzzi tub. It has two plastic or fiberglass panels on the front that have a metal clip that hods the to the frame. I think it is called a skirt...

Study positioning of remaining clip and emulate with the one that fell off. If something broke then you may have to do a Rube Goldberg - a good epoxy might just do the job.

For replacement parts your best bet is to you use the on-line dealer locator:

http://www.jacuzzi.com/baths/pages/dealer-locator

or you can shop on-line from one of their authorized retailers; however did not see any of the parts you are looking for at the sites I checked:

How do you remove Jacuzzi Waterfall handles to get to the valve. There are no visible screws??

On the top of each handle you will need a very small flat head screwdriver or something similar to "pop" the top cap off. Under that cap there is a phillips head screw so you can remove the handle.

We have a 20 year old tub shower single valve. We replaced the brass cartridge with a plastic cartridge and water is leaking out of the front when the water is on. Do we need to replace it with a brass...

I'm not now nor have I ever been a fan of the plastic moen replacement cartrideges. I don't know if they still do but probably about twenty five years ago I tried using a few of the plastic replacements, mostly due to high cost of the brass moen factory ones I think every one leaked. Then I actually read on the instructions that it was not unusual for them to leak some. My suggestion is to get a good brass moen magnum cartridge and be done with it for another twenty years. Hope this helps you. Thanks.

HOW TO FIT A FRONT PANEL TO JACUZZI BATH

If you are talking about the skirt of the tub, most are held in place with a glue backed velcro type fastener. It is a thin panel of plastic that goes on the front outside of the tub, this is known as the skirt of the tub.

Jacuzzi tub on/off bezel wont hold switch down

I couldn't find the information you are asking for in the installation manual. I have included a link to the pdf page so you can print it out and look at it in print. On this particular question, I think I would give Jacuzzi a call. They can better answer you question without guessing.
