My ps3 wont finish game update

Check your internet connection on another device to see if it is working(PC,Smartphone,etc..) If internet does not work it is your modem. If it does then it is something involving the Playstation Network or a bad connection.

My xbox will not let me update the new updates. It says Cant download the update test connection then it says test connections. it still doesnt work

Once in awhile, the keys just expire. To renew it, go to SYSTEM UPDATE in your PS3s xmb.. 2nd tab over top option..click it and it will ask you to select a method. Update via internet. Go through this you should be good to go.they usually expire after 12-18 mos. Heres a link to the manual..

your internet connection might not be up to standards with how fast the connection needs to be so sometimes ps3's will just refuse to update at all. PS if your connection is that bad there's no point going online anyway not with killzone

Some games require an update through the internet before they can be played. The system itself doesn't need the update, but the game requires information to be downloaded before they can start. Make sure your system is connected to the internet.

I was having the same problem with downloading demos. what i did is that I paused the download and since i had other waiting, i started on those ones. After, I was done with those ones, I retried to download it again and it worked finally. try this to see if it works for you!

try moving your playstation around to were the wireless is strongest. A couple of feet made the difference for me. if it still doesnt wotk get an ethernet cable.

I have had advice directly from SCE that updates should be done from a flash Drive and not directly from the internet connection on the system, as its quicker and more stable.
I have just had my unit crash on me, by updating first the PSStore update patch, which caused the original issue, then an update for RSV2 pretty much finished it off.

Get the game right in the first place!!!??
