I have a frigidaire professional series electric stove with electronic controls. One of the heating elements turned on by itself and will not turn off no matter which way I turn the control knob.

Did you try to reset the electronics to factory defaults? If still no results you can always disconnect the wires going to the "runaway" burner after killing power and insulating the loose wires.

May need a controller board for device.

Frigidaire electric stove (ES200/300) was on (all elements and over) last night, then shut down by itself...won't turn back on, nada, dead, not even the clock...can I fix it?

Thank you for your inquiry, Jim Riley!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire range is no longer operating. It could be a faulty EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or wiring harness. This is not a simple DIY job. I would highly recommend having a professional technician come out to properly diagnosis your range because they would have the tools needed to review each component to locate the problem. Additionally once the faulty part has been located they will be to properly exchange it without creating any future issues. Best of luck! -Matt

Frigidaire oven will not get all the way hot

Good Afternoon Tasha - There could be
a number of any one of several underlying causes in why the oven is
experiencing this particular issue:

·
Convection
heating element

·
Thermal cutout

·
Thermal oven
sensor

·
EOC
(electronic oven control)

·
Ignitor

·
Bake or broil
element

·
All wired
connections

The parts above will need to be assessed for further
evaluation. Lastly, the oven cavity and insulation should be checked to ensure
there are no gaps or damages that will leak out the heat. At t his time, I
would recommend contacting a professional to assist you further since it is always
a good idea to get the appropriate diagnosis prior to making any unnecessary
part replacements.

My oven when turned on goes to F1 and the heat is like broil...only the top burner comes on????

Hello,Please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacement of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes – 362 Series (General Electric)
F1 = Stuck Touch Pad Key - Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 911 Series (General Electric/Roper)
F0-F1-FF = Failed transistor in Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes- 665 Series (Whirlpool)
F1-E0 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E1 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E2 U/L ERC Errors - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E3 Fuel Type Fail

Kill power 30 seconds-Cancel-Start/Enter-5 seconds-Should see “E” for electric-
“9” for gas-If code changes again-replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 790 Series Electronic Oven Control (Frigidaire)
F1 = Shorted Touch Pad = Electronic Range Control (EOC) Internal check sum error.
Runaway Temp = Replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Kill power 30 seconds - if error returns - replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Thanks

Top element wont heat wen oven is on bake

The top element normally operates only when you turn the temperature control all the up to the broil setting as it is the broiling element. If it doesn't work at the broil setting, suspect a bad brioler element or a faulty temperature control.

Frigidaire ceramic cooktop burner turned on by itself

It is the burner control (behind the knob). The triac in the control has failed. $50 item, 10 minute change. Just make note which wire goes to which terminal.

I doubt that it is the control board, as the board has little to do with the stove top, but rather controls the display and the oven temperature/feedback monitoring.

Hope this helps.
