Barolo AU9 weather station. I replaced batteries in the outside temp unit. how do I activate it to show outside temp on the main inside unit

Here's the manual for the AcuRite Weather Forecaster. If it's not showing the outside temperature, make sure the A-B-C switch is set to match the display unit. Check battery status indicator on main weather station of remote unit. If no indication, replace battery in remote unit. If battery is good then check "channel setting" of remote unit to make sure the channel setting on remote unit matches the "channel" setting on main unit. many weather stations will take up to 3 or 4 remote units and they must use different channels to relay the remote imfo to the main weather station unit.

Remove the batteries from both the sensor and weather station. Keep both units close together on the same table. Press any button on the weather station 20 times to remove any random energy from it. Replace batteries in sensor and then in weather station. Do not press any buttons on the weather station until the sensor data appears on screen. It worked for me!

You have to push some buttons to tell the MAIN unit to scan, then put battery into the REMOTE, set channel, and hit reset through a little hole. And the MAIN should see it.

Mine did the same thing. I just had to replace the batteries in the main unit and it is working again. Good luck!

Bring the outside sensor inside. Take the batteries out of the sensor and out of the main unit. Wait 10 minutes. Put the batteries back in the remote sensor. Put the batteries back in the main unit. Do not touch any of the buttons. Wait 10 minutes. If the remote temperature is not showing within 10 minutes, try again. Once the remote temperature is showing, you can set the clock.

Try pushing the reset button on the inside of the battery compartment of the remote unit then push the reset button on the back of the main unit (you'll need a paperclip or tooth pick to push the buttons). If that fails I'd start from scratch by removing the batteries from both the remote unit and the main unit then replace the batteries to the remote unit first and push reset, then replace the batteries to the main unit and if necessary push the reset button on the main unit too.
