My Asus RT-AC3100 stopped allowing 2.4G connections. The network is there but just says can't connect. 5 G works.

I have upgraded the firmware, downgraded the firmware reset the modem and even tried Merlin software. Set the channel to fixed. Still will not connect. Any ideas?

SOURCE: Limited or No Connectivity

are you running windows xp or vista? if so make sure that your DHCP service is running, and also make sure your IP address is configured to "obtain automatically" if your router is configured to do just that. Otherwise I would say: 1 - upgrade firmware 2 - make sure everything is configured correctly on router and pc (I suggest making same as other computers connected) 3 - uninstall and reinstall your network adapter or install newer drivers for network adapter. 4 - your router is bogged down due to the fact there is more than one computer connecting to it. It may not be built to work well with more than 1 pc, even though it is capable. 5 - your router is not within good strength connection of your pc. - i can help you more if you give me more information and try the things listed above. but be careful when screwing around on the router settings, you could click something causing everything to stop working.

ASUS RT-AC68u wifi lights

When you log into the management interface? Are you able to go into the settings for the 'wireless?' Does it give you a status? What about firmware version? Sometimes updating the firmware can fix things. Let me know if you need additional help with that. You can view the support page for your router here:

Asus RT-G32 Wireless Router Firmware 3.0.2.1

Have you tried resetting the router to factory settings? Beware that will erase all data on device.

Have you checked if the correct DNS is set in the router? Contact your ISP for the proper DNS or you could try the Google DNS which is 8.8.8.8, more info here:

I was running firmware 3.0.6-25 for well over two years. iphone 4 problem and iphone 5 no problem. Then all of the sudden with no changes to the environment the iphone 5 stopped working with the router....

Check the antennas make sure that they are secure and that their connection is not corroded. If you can down grade the firmware to an older version and see if that solves the problem. Also try reinstalling the firmware maybe it did not configure correctly.

Printer connected to a Asus router RT-n56u via usb port System with Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit Usb port enable through Asus Printer Utility Driver select (auto) during installation SAMSUNG UNIVERSAL PRINT...

I'm having the same issue with the same router and printer (mine is CLP-300/XXA).
At first when I try t print a pdf file or an image or any text/word document file with pictures/images I get an SPL-C error.
I have upgraded the firmware and it worked great on my laptop! Then, I tried to install the printer driver on my desktop, but now none of them work correctly.

Still not solved, but here are some suggestions:
1. Try to upgrade the firmware. 2. Try to install the original samsung printer driver 3.0.1
3. If it didn't work try to install the updated driver 3.0.4 4. If it didn't work try to install the Universal Printer Driver
5. IMPORTANT: between uninstalling and installing driver, disconnect both printer and router A/C power adapter and try to reboot you PC after removing the previous driver!
I'm going to work on it and see if it works. The DD-WRT firmware solved the exact same problem on my previous RT-N13U router, but unfortunately DD-WRT doesn't support RT-N56U yet!
Note: I called ASUS and they told me that Samsung printers are not supported for printer sharing server :(

Hi, I have got RTG32 router installed for a small business (5-6 ) machines .From machines I can see and update router settings but I can't see internet line working from router. Internet is working...

Do you use a username and password provided by your ISP on the computer to connect to the internet? If yes, these need to be entered into the connection settings of the router. Are you connecting the internet line to the WAN port on the router? Did you install to your computer the ASUS utilities? Try the EZ Setup utility. You can download the manual from this link http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=gEbdYWdf5mjkJUKc
