From a home screen, select Apps (located in the lower-right).
From the Apps tab, select Settings.
From the SYSTEM section, select Date & time.
To use network-provided values, select the following:
Note Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.
Automatic date & time
Automatic time zone
If not using network-provided values, perform the following to adjust date & time manually:
Select Set date.
Adjust the date then select Set.
Select Set time.
Adjust the time then select Set.
Select Select time zone.
Select the time zone.
If desired, select Use 24-hour format.

Select Select date format.
Select the date format.
If this doesn't work, contact your cell service provider. Sounds like a service issue to me.
Check your manual for guidance. How can anyone help without the model number? Duh!
