Cannot share to facebook?

Facebook and Twitter are both amazing social networking sites. If you use Twitter, you know that one of it's great features is the Retweet, which allows you to pass on a post you receive to your friends and followers. Retweeting makes it very easy to share information in Twitter.

Facebook also allows you to share a friend's posted link in much the same way as a Retweet! Using the Share feature, you can post a friend's item to your own Profile and Live Feed, while giving them credit with a Via message.

This lets all your friends see posts that you receive from people that may not be on everyone's list. It's a great way to pass on fun, interesting or important links that you want to share with all, or just some, of your friends.

It's easy to use this feature. Here is How To Use The Facebook Share Via Feature.

First of all, Facebook currently doesn't let you Share everything that your friends post. You cannot Share their Status Updates or Photos.

You can Share any of their Posted Links. This would include websites, links, or videos that a friend or organization posts to their News Feed. To simplify how to know what things you can Share, just look for the word "Share" under the item. It will be next to the "Comment" and "Like" choices, and if it's there, you can Share! If a friend has posted an item that you want to Share and post to your Profile page with a Via credit, click on the "Share" link underneath the item. A "Post To Profile" box will pop up. You can write a message in the text box that will post along with the Shared item, or you can just leave it blank and let the post speak for itself. You can also click on "Send as a Message instead". This allows you to share the post with just one friend, a list, or an email address. The default setting is to display a small thumbnail picture of the posted item along with the post, so if you don't want the thumbnail to show, you have to select the "No Thumbnail" box. Normally you would use the default setting and display the thumbnail. Let's say you choose to Share it on your Profile and Live Feed. Just click on the "Share" button to post the item. You will get a confirmation message on the screen that the message was posted to your Profile. Click on your Profile or the Live News Feed to see how the Shared message looks to the rest of the world. The originator of the message will be given credit by placing the word "Via" in front of their name by the reposted item. You've just done the Facebook version of a Retweet!

I've been blocked from adding friends on facebook since days! i need to add friends.

Hi! Maybe you reached the 5.000 friends limit? It's quite a heavy limit, but possible.
If that's not the case most probably you are experiencing some kind of bug. Best way to get rid of it is to report this problem using this link (it will guide you straight to where you should be posting it).
By being yourself the "bug poster" they will give you a response to your own problem, so it will be faster and more efficient.

I got the message from facebook your account has been suspended temoprarily due to phishing and i am not able to login my facebook, even the message sent by facebook in my email and clicking on it and even...

sometimes if you continually post likes, (for trying to win free things) facebook will do that, or it could be someone in your friends list that posted a complaint on you. (do you know all the people in your friends list? if not get rid of them. people will sabotage your fb by sending you a friend request and do stuff like that.

Instructions
  1. Download the application. The Application is available through the BlackBerry website (see Resources below). Have the download link sent to the email address you use on your BlackBerry. Once the email arrives in your BlackBerry inbox, click on the link provided and follow the prompts. You will need to type in your Facebook user name and password to complete the download process. Once the application is loaded you will see a row of icons at the top of the screen.
  2. Set your Facebook status. Use the track ball to click on the first icon (which looks like a person's silhouette with a phone) and update your own status and see your friends' recent status updates. It may take a minute to upload the status list so be patient.
  3. Add mobile photos. Use the track ball to click on the camera icon, and a browser box will pop up with a camera option and the pictures from your phone. If you pick the camera option it will take you into your camera, and from there you can take a picture. Once the picture is taken, press the "Menu" button. Select "Send to Facebook" from the pop-up menu and that photo will post to your Facebook account. You can give the picture a caption and "Tag" the photo before you upload it. If you want to post a picture you have already taken, you can scroll through the photos in the browser box. Select the picture, and it will give you the caption and tag options.
  4. See your friends. The next icon will bring up your friends list. If you highlight a friend's name and press the menu button, a menu will pop up allowing you to poke him, write on his wall, send a message and view his profile.
  5. Add friends, poke and write on walls. The next three icons are pretty self explanatory. The silhouette with the "+ 1" allows you to send friend invites. Just type in the email addresses and a message and click on "Invite." The poke action is next on the icon list; just type in your friend's name and click poke. The wall function is similar: Type in your friend's name and then it will let you type a message.
  6. Check and send mail. From here you can see your Facebook Inbox and compose messages. Only messages you have received since you added the application will show up. To send a message, type in the name of the recipient and an email box will pop up.
  7. Get your notifications. Each time a notification comes through, an alert will be sent to your phone. To access the alert, go to the Facebook icon on your menu. The notifications will be listed like your text messages and emails. You can act directly on some of the notifications from the listing. Other notifications require you to log in to the mobile or Web versions of Facebook to continue.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

WhY my account is dis able ?

Some of the following are reasons why facebook may disable your account:

  1. You send "too many" friend requests in one day/session.
  2. You make "too many" wall posts in one day/session - especially with verbatim content and with links.
  3. You copy and paste the same friend request message "too many" times.
  4. You send too many identical emails to individual friends and/or friend lists*.
  5. You message your Group members "too many" times.
  6. You message your Event invitees "too many" times
  7. You are under 18 years old and not part of a High School group.
  8. You wrote offensive content.
do you fit into these categories? also check your email alot of the time facebook will e-mail you why.

thanks.

How do you deleat things fron facebook that you

Hi,

You did not mention if the things that you wanted to delete are the things that you posted (or the things that your friends posted)
Well, if it is yours that you wanted to delete here's how:
Sign in to Facebook, On the upper right part of the facebook page, click profile.Click the WALL tab, there you will see the history of your activity in facebook. All your posted videos, messages and activities were listed. This are the lists also that your friends will be seen on their facebook page.
Delete this one at a time by pointing the arrow of the mouse to the topic, a small word "remove" will pop out once you point your mouse.
Click it and it will permanently remove from yours and your friends facebook.

However, on your homepage...posts that your friends made cannot be deleted.. you can hide it but everytime you sign in you will see again their posts.

Much appreciated if you can rate this help!!! thanks....

I have had something posted to several friends which I did not post, Nor had I even been on facebook today.

Sorry jkirkend, you're the victim of a hacker. Hackers have penetrated security at Facebook and released viruses that post erroneous messages and content to everyone in your Friend List or Address Book. There's not much you can do about it except *IMMEDIATELY* reply to the posting and tell your friends it wasn't really you and you didn't post it. Some of them are pretty obvious; most are just a nuisance.
