DigiTech RP350 Digitech Effect Pedal Utility Guitar Effects. How come my Digitech RP 350 turns on AND shuts off quickly.

Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)'. Plus it appears to be an 'RP', no an 'ro', and Capitalised.

It seems to have issues and because of that was discontinued. Take it to your local music store, they will know an electronics engineer.

DIGITECH DIGITAL CLAMP METER QM-1563

I am repairing a Digitech QM156 for a friend - someone has been
stuffing with the trimpots - so it's way out of calibration. RV9 on the current sensor board, corrects the zero (most systems have this as an external control. However the volts range etc is way out of whack. Does anyone know what each pot is supposed to do??

My digitech rp 500 has power supply but it won't

Make sure you have the OFFICIAL Digitech power adapter. Universal adapters or those for MOST other pedals will NOT work... things may light up but you will NOT get audio. This unit requires an adapter supplying 9 VAC (not DC) at about 1 amp. These AC output adapters are not very common and people get the units without an adapter and try using universal adapters and they do not work. An AC adapter is used by Digitech so they can generate both plus and minus voltages internally. I don't know what your utility power voltage is in Cebu, so you need to get an adapter for your voltage that will give 9 VAC output and fit the power jack on the unit.

I'm trying to add a Digitech X Series EX-7

You CANNOT use the Voodoo as it outputs DC voltage and the EX-7 requires an AC voltage and of 9 VAC and also 1.3 amps at that.

Hiwhat is the best way to connect my DigiTech RP10 to my Marshall MA100H Guitar Amplifier

Read your manuals for both pieces of gear carefully first. You only have one amp so you won't be able to take advantage of all the FX on the Digitech as a lot of them are designed for stereo. The Digitech manual shows guitar into the Digitech and output from the Digitech into input of any guitar amp. Since you have a Marshall and can already get some great sounds by running your guitar straight into the Marshalls input, you would probably be better off using your Digitech in the FX loop. Run a guitar cord out of the send on the loop into the input of the Digitech and a guitar cord out of the left / mono output jack on the Digitech into the effects return jack on the Marshall. Start out with the effects level on the Marshall all the way down. Do the same with the Digitech with both the input and output levels. (Read the manual carefully) I think the choice of the Digitech isn't that great because it is already trying to reproduce a lot of what you can already get with just your Marshall but with a little experimentation and some careful adjustments you should be able to add to the sound of the Marshall. Hope this helps.

After a few minutes of use, there is clipping and sound cutting out with the guitar through. Vocal and harmony are fine. I tried using different guitar cords, different guitars, different amps to no avail....

Hi,

I know you hate this answer, but it needs to be repaired. It has a circuit board inside, and there's really not a work-around. But it is broken. I totally understand about not wanting to send your gear out, especially if it's a pedal board you have set just right, and are completely usweed to using. You'll be a lot happier with it if you get it fixed though. Or find another one on eBay. I sold all me Digitech pedals when I got my Pod - but that's just me, I use a lot of distortions and it fit the bill better for me. I used Digitech pedals for about 20 years and thought I would hate anything else.

Take care.

Digitech rp6

Try contacting their service center rep at (801)566-8800. They might send you a schematic for the pedal if you explain your situation. They do recommend using the original power supply PS0912 which should still be available. Hope this helps.
