SOURCE: I just replaced the belts on my Necchi 535FA, but

If the belts are not tight enough they will slip, they should all be fairly tight but not like a piano string if you know what I mean.
As you do not describe what the machine is doing wrong I can not really say any more at present, except make sure there is no oil on the belts and the machine has no tight spots when you turn it over by hand.

SOURCE: My Necchi sewing machine worked before I sewed on

it sounds like your machine needs servicing. have you oiled all moving parts inside machine? is the belt tight enough that it is not slipping?

you should have your machine serviced by a technician every 2 or 3 years.

Use a heavy needle and a product called jean-a-majig from Joann fabrics and you will be fine, just make sure you use the correct needle as this is key

Have a Necchi 534FB. The hand wheel does not turn the needle bar, belts are loose. What should I do???

The is usually an adjustment to tighten the belts by moving the motor. There are other ideas here, clutch, the knob in the handwheel or the screw in the needle bar..

Necchi 575FA runs heavy, wheel barely turns.

It is the bit that rotates the bobbin case back and forth in a "shuttle" motion.
It sounds like it would be worth exploring the idea that it is time for a service !!
