Hi Regarding olivetti ecr 7700 cash register. I am experiencing that the display goes blank sometimes. Does anyone know what can cause that?

Sanyo ECR 240 Cash Register
Hi. These are very rare, so I don't have info on them. However, Sanyo usually have a receipt on/off button on the machine if that model can have the paper turned off. Since it is a single roll printer, it may be set to journal mode where it will always print. To change this, you would need the programming tables. Do you have a manual for it? If I can check the tables, we can see if it has the on/off function.
