SOURCE: hp dv71245dx cannot remove from muted state.

hi
Go to Control panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Volume. Check that Device Volume is at least halfway across the slider and that Mute is unchecked. Go to Advanced and make sure that nothing is mute. Go to Speaker Volume and set the sliders at least halfway across the slider. Go to Advanced, and in Speakers setup choose Laptop Stereo Speakers (if that's what you have). Go to Performance and choose Restore Defaults. Click Apply > OK

plz do inform if this has sorted out the problem
all the best
regards

SOURCE: My deaf father has been recommended to use

This is not a typical setup for most TVs. There are ways around it though. If your set has a set of audio output jacks, than those can be used to power a separate sound source for the headphones. There are adaptive listening systems available for this purpose what use either infra-red transmitters or RF transmitters to matching headphones. The key here is whether or not the TV has the audio output available.

Please check that and update this with what you find and I'll try to provide a solution within the context of your specific set. Post the TV model number too.

Thanks,
Dan

SOURCE: Right speaker is not operating on a set of AKG headphones.

Go in by the part that fits to your ear. You will need to remove the ear pad. Also the foam, you might have to force the foam off, you can glue it back when done. With them gone you should see access screws.

SOURCE: My volume wheel isn't working, as well as the mute

Hi,
I had the same problem. For me it helped to turn on Hotkey utility (was already installed). If you do not have it, try to google it.
Hope it helps
