I'm trying to reset an 1070 TPC supra pad tablet it has in old password to get into and I do not know it. Can you help???

To factory reset the Naxa Core Tablet NID-1070, follow these steps:

1. Power off the tablet by pressing and holding the Power button until the tablet turns off.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button at the same time until the Naxa logo appears.
3. Release the buttons and wait for the Android system recovery menu to appear.
4. Use the Volume buttons to navigate to the "Wipe data/factory reset" option, and then press the Power button to select it.
5. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes" and then press the Power button to confirm.
6. Wait for the tablet to complete the factory reset process.
7. Once the process is complete, the "Reboot system now" option will be highlighted. Press the Power button to select it and reboot the tablet.

After the reboot, the tablet will be reset to its factory settings.

Reset your password. If you make a new account and password you will loose all of your old information, apps and app store purchases.

My answer would be this:
You must contact facebook. And get their help to reset your password. ( To RESET is the important part in this - remember that. ). I do not know much about facebook and their policies. And how they operate. I actually hate that freaking platform. But I see your problem with pictures and memories! If they can not help? Perhaps you can actually get apple to do it. Otherwise, I'm sure they have a solution of a kind! Contact them and describe your problem. Good luck. C.

Good luck with that. you will have to think of the password to get it to work or replace the motherboard and or the hard drive

Be careful that it's not a phishing attempt, and that the message really is from Facebook. If you're sure it's kosher, my best advice in a case like this--ask a knowledgeable friend, or one who knows a tech-type person, to go through the password reset process with you in person. You can have him (her) look away when you enter your new password. If he's brought a pad or tablet along, try logging on to Facebook with both your iPad and his to make sure the new password works.

Do you know what your son did to induce the error--if anything? Do you still have the manual? Have you tried soft and then hard reset?

Firmware Upgrade: Their manual doesn't appear directly to indicate how to perform a hard reset without upgrading firmware. Telephone support should instruct well about that, though. See the manual on page 13--that's likely your tablet's problem! That refers the reader back to "Should I perform a firmware update?" on page 12.

I hope that firmware update isn't required: It may prove very risky--perhaps making your tablet useless.

Note the screen picture on page 9 of the manual: "Backup and reset"--if you can navigate to that, click navigate further in the menu to "Factory Data reset" (that's what my Android 4.0 tablet indicates, anyway--it's likely the same wording). Execute, (and, click "Yes, etc.") if possible: It likely isn't possible, is it?


Here's the firmware update site for the 1070 models: The procedure is somewhat involved, yet not impossible. Actually, two versions of the 1070 tablet exist--1070A and 1070B. You need to determine which one is your's. Definitely click and read "Serial Number Checklist.txt to help determine which firmware update to use. It appears somewhat ambiguous with one model. Again, telephone support ultimately should prove correct here, in your case.

Then "Press the Volume + button of the tablet and keep it pressed. "

That point in the process likely should offer an option for factory reset, given that you can't navigate your tablet's "Settings" menus. Navigate on that screen and execute--clicking "Yes," or otherwise affirm.
