What does error code HH.H mean?

This means that the sensor is not plugged in or has been damaged. This Thermometer is a resistive device. If the thermistor is not connected the resistance is too high and thus out of range. The unit will then display the 'HHH'.

I have a McCall 4-4070FC i need to find out how to turn on the Lights and Door Heaters?

Your light switch is white generally around frame... As for door heater it will be on as soon as you plug unit it. You can feel around door jam to see if heating... Should be warm not scalding hot. McCall was sold to manitowoc and some parts are no longer available. If you're able to do repair yourself try case parts.

McCall freezer installed 8 yrs ago in remote area 90 miles from nearest tech. Compressor was remoted to basement. Freezer has never cooled to less than 10F--in red arc. Now won't cool less than 30F. ...

If the condenser coil is clean and the unit is in an area where the ambient temp. is 80 degrees or less, it is most likely a refrigerant problem. Probably low and has a leak. Another issue could be that the line sizes for the distance the refrigerant has to travel, may be wrong. Since I don't know the distance, you may need to have that checked into also. You should not have more than a 1-2 psi drop due to line size and distance traveled.

Need to know the design superheat also normal pressures on this unit with 404A refrigerant

The McCall web site has nothing easily found on the 7-7045FT unit.
In answer to you questions, first, what is the expansion device. TXV, Cap Tube, or something else?
Low site pressure will be dictated by the super heat. The high side, in many cases, is usually ambient plus 30, then convert to psi.

Let me know if you need more info. And please double check the model number/ serial numbers.

good luck

Keys

Hi there!

Yes you can order a set from most locksmiths that cut keys to code.
You may be able to order a set by phone for this.

Alternatively, the manufacturer will keep replacements, but may cost slightly more.

I hope this helps you resolve this problem. If it does, Please spare a moment to rate as Fixya! Thanks.

Mccall 4-4045

You would need to change the condensing unit (outside bit) to a larger duty, you would probably need to change the evaporator (inside coil) to match the condensing unit. You would need to install drain heater, door heaters and probably change part if not all of the control circuit. In short I would suggest not doing this unless you want to make a fridge guy a lot richer. I know fridges that can get to sub zero temps without help but I would suggest that you would be better off to buy a purpose made freezer as what would be required would probably cost as much and not look as nice. Hope this is of some help.
