Hi, I have a Simplicity easy lock 804D serger and I have the owner's manual, and I'm able to give you a copy if you don't have one, I need the foot control, and I don't know how to take one.

You will need to buy a new looper from a dealer with a spare parts account for this brand.
It is tricky to set up the loopers without a service manual, so best suggest you also have them install and service the machine at the same time or you risk breaking the new one if it is even slightly out of alignment.
You may also find that parts availability at this time of year will be restricted as many businesses and suppliers close for several weeks.

For the both you listed (brother 925d and simplicity 804d) it is a "15x1" which is a standard home needle. Same size the fits almost all home sewing machines. Make sure to put the flat side of the needle to the back.
