I ve had the same issue today and freaked out thinking the phone was crasing. How ever after spending 3 hours trying every thing and aking on the web.

when you double tap the screen it normaly zooms?? yes

use 3 fingure tips to do a double tap!

this will take a sort off large zoom screen lock off and bring the main screen fuctions back inline for you.

please let me know or leave a reply

From the home screen, tap Settings (yeah, if you can find it — but at least they can’t delete that or any built-in application).
From Settings, hit General, then choose Reset.

From the Reset menu, choose Reset Home Screen Layout. When it asks you to confirm, tap the big red Reset Home Screen button.

You just need to tap three fingers on your iphone at the same time. What happened was that you might accidentally placed three fingers on your iphone's screen when you grab it from your pocket or purse.

You must have zoomed-in the screen accidentally. It's easy to zoom-out, just double-tap anywhere on the screen using 3 of your fingers (simultaneously) and everything will go back to normal.

And in case you want to zoom-in again, just do the same thing.

Big icons on my iphone 3gs home screen.plz solve this problem
Double tap the screen with 3 fingers and it will unzoom. Then to switch the feature off,
go to settings, accessability and turn off zoom feature.

I got a permanent expanded screen, how do i fix that? my niece was playin my iphone 3gs and all of a sudden the whole screen permanently expanded, even the home screen, i can't even open up all the...
I got the same problems (3Gs screen Expanded); but resetting by depressing "Home" & "power" Button dosen't help.

By trail an error...I got the screen back to normal. Below is the solution.

Try this: "use 3 of your finger tips, tap the screen 3 times (like tripple clicking with 3 finger tips) on the Iphone Screen"
