SOURCE: 4gb Memory card error

In order to use 4gb memory your camera has to be approve for SDHC use.

If it isn't the most memory you can put into your camera is 2 gb

SOURCE: card read error

Put the card back into the camera and off load/take off your pictures (Put them on the computer). Then, put the card back into the camera and go to your options menu. Find the format feature, and format the card. Take some new pictures and then try putting the card back into the picture frame. Does it work? If so, transfer the images from your computer back to the card. If it continues to work, then Great! If not, more than likely there is an improper or corrupt file among your photos.

Good Luck!

SOURCE: I cannot format my brand new memory card in my Kodak Easyshare.

Believe the 4 GB card is too large for this camera and internal camera software was not designed to format or manage so much memory.. try a fast SD under 2 GB.

SOURCE: card locked

The card has a lock on it which must have been disturbed, just take it out and slide it to unlock.

How do I Connect my Non-Wireless Camera to a Wireless Network

<p>Your digital camera can store images via a wireless network uses SD cards for memory storage. Special cards are available from SD Eye-Fi and also under the Lexar brand with Eye-Fi software, rather than just a flash memory, Wi-Fi radio that can connect to a local network and send your photos your computer contains. Insert the Eye-Fi card in USB reader that came with it. Connect it to a USB port on your computer. I have a pentax optio E40 camera. The screen reads card locked and I cant get it open

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
If this doesn't do it, try a different card.

Can i download pictures to my computer

Yes you can most certainly can :)

For European markets Nikon include NikonView 6.2, while in certain other markets the new PictureProject software is included, you can set this to automaticly import pictures when the camera is plugged into your computer.

the other options would be to remove the sd card from the camera and use a card reader

or another clever option is an "eye-fi" card, this will automaticly transfer pictures to an account when you are within range of an open wifi network

I have a brand new PENTAX E70L camera, with SD memory card. i took a few photos on it and then turned it off. Now when i turn the camera on it reads -card requires formatting.I press continue , to format...

Make sure you don't have any pics on the internal memory. To be sure, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. Then, insert the card and go into the menu and do the format thing again to erase the card and optimize it. Use the menu and not the format option the camera has been giving you.

Memory card is not being read

Here are two suggestions:

1) Make sure the card is properly formatted. If you are sure the card is blank, you can use the Format utility in the Set-up menu to format the card.

2) Make sure the card is not write-protected. If looking at the card with the gold contacts facing you and up, there may be a little tab that can be slid to protect the card. From this angle, you can protect the SD card by sliding the tab down (away from the gold contacts) or unprotect the card by sliding the tab up. Sometimes the tab can get bumped part way between the two positions.

Pentax Optio MX4 won't read my new SDHC 4gb

Does the camera work with any other card? Was the card formatted in the camera? Some cards from some manufacturers just don't work in some cameras.
