No manufacturer, model or type (electric or gas powered) so it is impossible to diagnose this issue.

Is this a battery powered lantern (not gas)?
Usually this is caused by old or weak batteries. The light can work for a while, then when the voltage drops too low the light turns off. The battery voltage then rises again and the light can turn on again for a bit. Replace with new batteries.
Sometimes this is caused by bad battery connections, make sure they are very clean.

Issue with Coleman 4345 rechargeable lamp.

It sounds like the internal battery is faulty. Have you tested the time the light will stay on at low setting against what the advertising says 66 hours? The Cree Light module has a current sensor in it and will cut off when there isn't enough current.

This says it takes 8 D-Size batteries, and doesn't mention rechargeable at all?

Swissgear rechargable lantern won't light up, even though the green led light indicates it is fully charged

There are several different models of the Swiss Gear rechargeable lantern. On most though, you can remove the top portion of the lantern and check the lighting element inside. In most cases the elements can be removed and replaced. I have a dual filament lantern and from experience I know that every so often you may have to go buy a replacement light piece. If the lantern has been bumped or even just strapped to the outside of the pack while walking, it's possible for those elements to become loose and need repositioning or replacement so do check that. I'm sure that it should be unlikely your charger is malfunctioning unless you left it plugged in for some very extended period of time, in which case I would say the light would be more likely to burn out. But definitely try that and if that doesn't work the battery pack on the lantern itself may have an issue in which case you can always get a replacement.

How do you light a Chinese lantern?

Modern Chinese lanterns made for home decorations are filling the current market. These are available in shops coming in different shapes and colors. The current designs contain strings or cords that are used to supply power and for attaching the indoor home lanterns available. These lanterns use minimal amount of power and are able to use a battery for a long period. Hanging these lanterns on the wall creates a good finished look. The Chinese lanterns are easy to light up using their battery power sources as well as they are permanent objects unlike outdoor lanterns used during festivities and are later released to the skies above.

Stuck behind a web towrd the biging of the game

If you are stuck behind a web, you probably need to swing your lit lantern at it and burn it down. If you don't have any fuel for your lantern, you can get some more outside the temple at the parrot's little shop.

How to light coleman lantern

Kerosene lanterns require a little more than just lighting the mantles. Go to Coleman's website and find the directions (for free) for KEROSENE lanterns. The generator on the lantern needs to be preheated with alcohol before it will actually light. Make sure lantern is a Kerosene lantern and not a white gas (Coleman fuel) type, there is a difference even though they look similar.
