Giga ONe hard drive reformat

Easy - first - 1 GB is 1 Giga Bytes, so:
150 Giga Bytes - 9.23 Bytes = 150000000000 - 9.23 = 149999999990.77 Bytes; or still pretty close to 150Giga Bytes.

If you really meant :
150 Giga Bytes - 9.23 Giga Bytes = 150000000000 - 9230000000 = 140770000000; or a little over 140 Giga Bytes.

First of all, check it with partition magic 8 and reformat if the partitions show in this software. And secondly, try to connect with another PC or it may the problem with your data cable but its chances are very low.

Please try with my above two options at least I assure you that your problem will resolve.

PROBLEM SOLVED. APPARENTLY THE GIGA POCKET PROGRAM IS AFFECTED BY THE SONIC STAGE MUSIC PROGRAM OF SONY. I RE-FORMATTED AND DID NOT INSTALL THE VAIO MEDIA AND SONIC STAGE SOFTWARE ...

THE TV TUNER NOW WORKS FINE ....

I JUST USE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND WINAMP FOR THE MUSIC ....

NO REMOTE CONTROLS ... BUT THE TV TUNER WORKED .... ONCE MORE ....

you need to go to the jobo site, find the driver/software/service link, in that you will find the giga one formatting tool, download and use that. i had the same problem when i purchased my original giga one, i used windows to format the drive - but as people find out windows is unable to format the drive correctly ie fat 32, and you then get an error message. in the formatting tool it tells you why what the different error codes are and error 1 means drive not formatted to fat 32, im not sure how old your giga one is but when i purchased mine approx 4yrs ago it never came with a proper manual and there was no support on the jobo site at the time. I think a lot of these minor problems could be avoided if it came with a manual and explained whats needed to clear the internal hard drive

Since they installed a generic copy of xp, there are none of the sony installed add-ons present on the computer. go here to view the available downloads for your system provided by sony, you will have to select the "EVERYTHING" tab to see the giga downloads if it does not load there.
Otherwise you will have to contact sony for a recovery disk specific to your system.

update ur mother board bios (which update file u can download from ur mother board vander web site). Because due to old bios 80gb hard disk not detacted.

And also suggest me what are the contents in CD come with Trnscend pen drive.

Are there any software useful for making bootable disk in CD????

I had this problem and I renamed the GigaPocket V5 directory and restarted Giga Pocket. No more problems with GP666, now I just need to learn how to re-import the old videos into the cabinet.

This one took me a while to figure out as I had the same problem.

The answer is rename/delete the D:\GigaPocket directory and restart GigaPocket. It will regenerate the directory and will work fine....or at least mine did.

when you swap the hard drives did you copy the software (not music) from the old to pc.......this is the software that is needed to be on the(that you would have paste to the 80) before your place any other files on it.............
