If its a window unit, pull out of window get to the front fins might have to remove a few screws on the sides of front and spray out with a hose be careful not to get control box wet.spray fins and wheel inside, dump water out the back or side, put back in window it should start blowing cold air if not then its time for a new one.but sounds like its getting over heated
Check and test freon and the condenser fan

Hi
If the fuses are all ok and you can hear the aircon clutch clicking when you attempt to switch it on, then I think it may be time for a re-gas! You could do it yourself with a can of gas from an autofactors, but you wouldn't get the pressure right, and, there would still be old gas in there.
If you took it to a garage, however, they would **** out all the old gas, and then hold the vacuum in there for a while to check for any leaks. Then they would refill to the exact pressure with fresh new gas.

Sounds like your freon has leaked out and your heater blower resistor is burned out. Deffinitly take this to the dealer.
SOURCE: Will not cool properly.
You have either a faulty thermostat, dirty condenser and evaporator or a faulty run capacitor. Need to service soon before the compressor is damaged. Sea Breeze
