What about the fuel filter????? Have you changed it out??? If you can spary something like a started fluid, that means it is a fuel problem. My last check, it has to be above 50-psi on the fuel pressure to make it run right. I had 35psi, but whould not get over 30mph or down hill maybe 45mph. Check both filter & pressure, but check pressure with a New fule filter!!!!
You may need to do a more detailed cleaning on the carburetor. I like to use a Den Tek Brush, (used for cleaning teeth), to get into the small ports. They work great for this job. You may also need to check the small screen in carb. It gets blocked with debris. If you need further assistance, please contact me.

It is not a fuel pump problem.
It a cold start valve problem. It didn't open. There are 2 things to check.
1- The cooling thermal sensor is not sending the proper signal to the ECU to turn on the cold start valve.
2- The bad solenoid inside the cold start valve causing it not operational.
Case 1 you can easily replace the thermal sensor.
Case 2 checking this requires professional skill to confirm if there is a signal at the valve during the start.
Good luck

I have one as well. Same problem and it got worse until I had to prime the carb to run. Fix is simple. 2 carb kits off eBay. Approx $30 ea new. Takes about 2.5 hours to do. I have never done before so I thought it was easy. What happens is the carbs have rubber diaphragms in them that act as a fuel pump. My old ones were really thin and worn. The new ones thicker and better. Put it back together and viola. It starts on it's own. I checked all forums about shut offs and external primers, pop pressure etc. Just rebuild your carbs. You'll be fine.
