Question about Yukon Optics

Open Question

I own a Yukon NVMT 20040WP Monocular and dropped it a couple of days ago. Now the light amplification has degraded much and the characteristic tiny bright flashing spots (accelarated photons) that indicate a normal working tube are gone. Otherwise it is still working but with degraded image brighness. I have taken the unit apart but I dont know what showhatI check.

SOURCE: Focusing Yukon NVMT 20040WP Monocular

It should focus normally from some 50ft up. Try to adjust the dioptery on the rear ocular.

What is a Monocular?

A monocular is a miniature, low powered telescope or spotting scope which you hold in your hand like a binocular but use with one eye like a telescope. A monocular shares characteristics with both binoculars and spotting scopes, but is much smaller than either. Size, then, is really what a monocular is all about. Some monoculars are no larger than your thumb or thicker than a good ink pen and any monocular will slip easily into a pocket or a purse. When a Spotting Scope or a Binocular, even a compact, is too large to take along, there is always a monocular. There is no excuse for leaving home without the monocular.

One more thing. DO NOT LOOK THROUGH NV MONOCULAR DURING THE DAY, OR LOOK AT BRIGHT LIGHTS. This will destroy the image intensifier tube. Bright lights will make it go south faster than Speedy Roadrunner. I need parts if the image tube is gone. Night Owl Optics in El Paso, TX will charge you about $200 plus parts and shipping to repair it. So, listen no looky at bright lights in the neighbor bedroom window, hey. GB...stewbison

I dropped my phone a couple of days ago. now in a call, i can hear them, but they can't hear me where i can buy a new e90 microphone?

You have knocked the connections to the tiny microphone out of contact. The thing is tiny and will have tiny pressure contacts. You MAY be able to fix this yourself with the proper tools. It often takes a TINY "Torx" bit to open cell phones.

The yukon NVMT 4 was turned ON and then flashed. Cover was on. Now the ON lights, IR Light works but visor is all grey and appear small lighting on bottom corner.

The scope may flicker or flash when used in a bright environment. To fix this you should only use a NVMT in a dark. It will restore itself in a few minutes or hours, depending on how long it has been exposed to light.
It may also flicker for the first several seconds of use in dark, before the device corrects itself.
With a severe exposure to bright light for prolonged time the light enhancing unit may damage beyond repair.

Monocular has poor focus picture barely clear

Weak battery (below 2V). Lens cover on. Focus off (it can be adjusted). Too bright environment.
Without handling the scope myself these are the best guesses.

YUKON NVMT 3 ( 4X 50 )

'it does not have objective lens'?! Yes, it could be the reason why you cannot see anything. Your NVMT should have a lens in both ends. It's just a regular telescope with some extra features.

Try to jank it left-right and simultaneously try to force it back to threads (either pulling or pushing). Don't hit it with anything since this may damage the insides.
