We have a Night Owl Optics Night Vision binocular #990832, Made in Russia, OH 1x20. Trying to find a manual for this. Can you help?

Here is the problem with Night Owl Optics, ATN, Bushnell, Zenith, Night Vision, and many others US companies that uses foriegn companies to manufacture there cheaper NV devises.

Your Night Owl Binocular has two: ccfl inverters, voltage multipliers, controler and image intensifier tubes. They are manufactured in Russia. 80-90% problems are the image intensifier tubes, they are not the best in the world and they can't take a lot abuse.

Call Night Owl Optics in El Paso, TX. and ask them what will it cost to repair you binoculars.

Contact the company who manufacture ths NV-300. I can tell you now ti's manufactured in Russia. Well, check the internet for "Night Vision 300, Also, this could be Night Owl Optics, Bushnell Optics, Lebel/Zinth Optics, ATN, etc.

Send me a picture and give me the diameter of the eyepiece on both ends. Most of these monoculars will basically have the same parts. GB...stewbison

Hello there. Are you pointing your NV binoculars at bright light, if so, please stop. Therefore, if you are not then possibly the iit (image intensifier tube) is bad, or the auto shut-off is also shorted. Night Owl Optics are in El Paso, TX. Call Night Owl up, they won't tell how to fix it. But they will tell where to send it. "It is proporitary" which mean, they are the one to fix it. Sorry, stewbison.

Hard power switch, hey! You are OK,. There nothing wrong with you. Pack it up, and send back to Night Owl Optics in El Paso, TX. You can try some dielectric spray lub...Radio Shack, it cheap. You know that this NV is made in Russia. stewbison

Hello, this Night Owl monocular will have two light (LED's), one green for on/off, and other red LED for IR illuminator. So, does the green light come on? Also, if still does work, then send it to me. I some parts to fix other NV devise and 95% of them are manufactured in Russia including yours.

Hello, Now, Night Owl Optics in El Paso, TX will repair your NV binoculars for a prices. This is what Night Owl will do for you. They don't have the parts to fix your Night Owl binoculars. They never have had parts to fix a lot of there products that they sell because the majority of them were manufactured in Russia and I really mean the whole thing. I could fix it for you but since I am on fixya.com I can used this web site for advertising my skills. Sorry.

Here what you can do, go to eBay then to search categories---sporting goods----outdoor sports----hunting----scopes, optics, lasers------night vision optics. Any of the monocular that are: Famous Trail, Night Owl Optics, Ziteh, Klanakia, Night Vision, Opel, ATN, or any of them that looks the same but with different names on them they are all manufactured in Russia. Russian has probably 15 companies that manufacture night vision devises and or parts there of. Some of these devise are good and majority are cheap but sold here in the US at a much high price. Don't pay over $50 for one plus shipping.
