Bad solenoid where water goes into the dishwasher. follow the tube from the water pipe in your house to where it goes into the dishwasher. turn off the power to the dishwasher. the small plastic pump(solenoid) where the tube from the house goes into the dishwasher is what you need to change. It has one electrical plug, two hoses attached, and a couple of screws holding it to the frame. remove the plug, the hoses, then the screws. Take bad solenoid and model number of dishwasher to hardware store they should be able to help you get the right one.
