Tap "Mailboxes" to go back and then select "edit" There are several other options there you might double check. Including turning on/off the Unread only mailbox. You can then click "done" and then select which mailbox you want to view .. "all messages" will have all of them in it.

SOURCE: don't receive incoming text messages.

Call your carrier's tech support, they have to re-setup your plan. In the end, it will either come down to doing a hard reset on your phone, a ticket, or replacing the phone.

SOURCE: Aloha! i just got a new ipad and would like to

You can sync apple ipad with outlook, there are different ways to do this, I will show you way where you can sync between your Google calendar outlook and your ipad.

Please follow the next steps.

* If you don't have a Google calendar then you can create one here http://www.google.com/calendar/
* Now you'll have to download the Google Calendar Sync, http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955
* Follow Google instructions on How to sync Google calendar with outlook, you'll have to insert your email and some other steps that are details at the link above.
* Now it's the ipad turn, from SETTINGS on your iPad select mail then contacts and calendars now select the add account then select Microsoft exchange
* Still with the ipad, from within the Microsoft exchange enter your gmail/email address, leave the domain field empty.
* Enter your password into the screen. Select next from the upper right corner. A message saying “Unable to Verify Certificate” will come up, Click accept.
* A new window, populate the server field with “m.google.com" click next. A new window will ask you to select what will be synchronized from the Exchange server, make your selections and select done.

That's about it now your ipad is synced with outlook through your google calendar.

Hope this will help you with your problem syncing ipad with outlook

SOURCE: I can't get my linksys to conntect to my apple

Hello,

You will need to try and connect to a WiFi network.

When you use any Internet-enabled application, iPad does the following, in order, until connected:

  1. Attempt to connect using the last Wi-Fi network you used that's available.
  2. If no Wi-Fi network you've used is available, iPad shows a list of Wi-Fi networks in range. Tap a network and if necessary, enter the password to join. Networks that require a password show ht4056_01---001-en.jpg next to them.
  3. If no Wi-Fi networks are available or if you choose not to join one, iPad connects over the cellular data network*.
  • To see all the Wi-Fi networks in range: From the Home screen, choose Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap a network to join it.

Why am I not getting posts from friends. but the show up on junk mail?

Mail or iCloud (or gMail, if you use that, or in general the mail system) thinks the mail is junk, for some reason. You need to teach it that it isn't, by selecting the mail, press the folder icon and send the email to Inbox. Eventually, it will learn the difference.

Old emails

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Under the Mail window - go to Show> and select the number of recent emails that you want the iPad to load in your email accounts.

While you are in the mail settings - tap on the email account, tap on the account in the next window, tap on Advanced in the next window and tap Delete - and select the amount of time that you want the emails to stay on the iPad.

In some mail accounts there will also be an option for Delete from Server - tap that and set it to never if you want to control when to delete your old emails.

Go back to your email inbox in the mail app and swipe down to the bottom of the window - there may be an option to "load more messages from the server" in blue letters. Tap that and you will download as many odl emails as you set up for in the Show recent messages setting. At the top of the inbox is a search field - type in keywords in that search field to find old emails.

You can also search for emails in the spotlight search. Go to the home screen and tap the home button and the search feature pops up. Type keywords in the search field at the top to find old emails there as well. When you tap on that email in the search, the mail app will open and you can read the email.

Go to settings then to notifications, then ensure that mail is in the notification centre select mail then click on your mail account and click on alerts in the alert style section and select your new mail sound which will probably be showing as none change it to whatever you want. and then close the mail window. Hope this helps.

I cannot access old Outlook (2007) emails on my Ipad. I can get recent emails but how do I search and access old emails like I can in Outlook?

1)Press settings icon (the one with the cogs) 2) than scroll to Mail, Contacts, Calendar and press it. 3) Find your email account you want to modify and click it 4) find the section on the bottom that says "Mail Days to Sync and press the button 5) Now, you have limited options there, but you can pull email from 1,3 days or 1,2 weeks, 1 month or No Limit. If you click no limit it will pull your entire inbox. So, I might be careful in saying it will drain battery power. And or take room on your ipad away. So, if you have old emails with big attachments, be weary. Plus, depending if you are pulling all this mail over 3G you should take note of your data limits.
Hope that helps.

My email shows old emails first. what do Ido

First log in to your Yahoomail account. Then, click on the Inbox to view all the incoming mails. Next, click on the pull down button and make sure that the "Date" option is checked under the "Sort" category.

This will enable you to view all your recent mails first.

Cannot get email

This is a very common problem. Upgrading you iphone firmware if it's not current may solve this problem. Or try changing your address for the account from [email protected]" to your yahoo id without the "@yahoo.com"

Otherwise the built-in yahoo option for iphone can be buggy:
  1. Delete the Yahoo account on your iphone
  2. Create anew account via Other option
  3. Fill in the usual user id and password fields
  4. Under IMAP tab set Host Name under Incoming Mail Server to imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com
  5. Under Outgoing Mail Server, in Host Name field set it to cwmx.com
If you have a very large yahoo inbox, you may have to do the following:

1. Go to your yahoo account in a regular browser on your computer. Makesure you're using the new version of Yahoo mail (the one that looks andfeels like outlook).

2. Create a new folder. I called mine "archive - inbox".

3. Select ALL emails in your inbox so that your inbox folder will becompletely empty once you move them (there's a box you can check whichwill select everything). I had over 5,000 emails in my inbox, so thiswould have taken ages using the Classic version of Yahoo mail.

4. Move all emails to your newly created archive folder. Go back intothe archive folder and select any unread/new emails and move them backto your inbox.

5. Go into Yahoo on your iphone and refresh the mail. This will clearout the old emails and download the most recent emails from your inbox.
