I bought a Polaroid power pack, a pink one. I have tried to charge my cell phone Without success.

I am not happy...... The light on the polaroid power pack is red when I put it on to charge, does this mean it is fully charged?I threw the box away believing the power pack would be fine. Help.

Red means it needs charging..... the light will turn green or go off when fully charged.

Ok it shows red then immediately the light goes out. I've just plugged it into my phone and it's not charging. I haven't seen the power pack light go green. I think it's a dud!

SOURCE: wont turn on

Please check the charger connector for dirt, if possible take an old toothbrush and clean with alchohol, let it dry and refix everything. should work.

SOURCE: Camera turns on for a few seconds, then off.

A light rap with a knuckle when powering up fixed the problem, at least temporarily. Lens extended, camera works fine. Not exactly a technical fix, but it worked for me.

SOURCE: Blue On G1

ok i had this isssue and figure out what to do. this is all afterm you know that you have a good charger and or battery.

1. completely turn of phone unplug charger.
2. take and put battery back in phone and plug charger.
3. hold hit camera button and power buton. phone will come on if the update was washed it will come straight on. if not you will see the blue LED dont worry yet. just keep holding for 15 sec.
4. while phone blue LED is still on hit and hold (drum Role) menu and track ball for 15 sec.
5. now unplug charger and take out battery. wait 10 sec
6. now put battery back in and leave charger off. and turn on. unless you was in middle of update and hardware failed this WILL bring your G1 back up and running.

hope this helps everyone . MIll$tronics signing out.

How can a Polaroid Pogo printer works without battery, directly connected to current?

If you a reasonably handy you could disassemble the battery pack and replace the cells with new NiCad or NiMH units. They are not complicated and you should find lots of sites on the net that will supply the cells. Alternatively if the unit has a DC socket you should find the voltage and current printed beside it. Try fitting a suitable power pack.

Classic polaroid camera don't know how to tell if it works

All film pack contain a 6v battery pack. It sounds like this one had only enough power to charge the flash and turn on the green ready light. There may not be enough power left to take the picture and eject the film. You will need to try a new film pack which will have a new battery.

I just bought a polaroid 636 autofocus off ebay and there is a filmpack inside it, however, the green light on the camera does not turn on. I just read that the battery is within the filmpack. Does this...

Absolutely correct. All original photo packs will be similarly affected due to age, but you can now buy newly manufactured photo packs from The Impossible Project.

You can also use original packs with flat batteries if you modify the camera to accept an external 6v dc power supply.

Just wont polaroid film for the spirt 600cl camer near ng172fu maybe a phone number

Polaroid film has long been discontinued and as of this week every remaining unused pack has passed its expiry date. You will not find any retailers in Sutton-in-Ashfield or anywhere near which sells it any more. There is a company which has just bought the machinery and rights to re-manufacture the film, but if production goes ahead it will not recommence until 2011 at the earliest and it will be an expensive specialist product.

You can still find it on auction websites and also at camera jumbles, but be careful. Old film can have unpredictable colours and contrast, and the camera rollers often fail to squeeze the developing emulsion across the entire photo. To prevent this some retailers will claim to have kept the film refrigerated. Unfortunately Polaroid film has the camera battery built in to it and refrigeration considerably reduces the battery life. This is not a problem if you modify your camera to take an external battery but without the modification your film pack may be useless.

The last few "fresh" 600 film packs I saw were going for around £30 per pack and each pack only gives ten photos.

What powers the polaroid 600 camera????????????????????????

The battery for the Poloarid is in the film pack.
Each film pack has enough battery power to shoot the film in the pack.
The problem is that if the pack sits around for too long the battery will die making the film pack useless.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

Polaroid DVD Player won't charge.

I had the same problem, which I attributed to having the plug in a power strip. Once I plugged it directly into the wall socket, I haven't had a problem since.
