SOURCE: Karcher K 3.68M Electric Pressure Washer. Wand trigger Locks Up.

Sounds like the pressure valve is broken thats why you cant depress the trigger , the valve is on the pump , i would suggest taking it to a repair shop as they are fiddly things to fix

SOURCE: pressure washer that leaks oil through the air breather

Most likely your air filter is plugged or dirty, or the crank case vent valve needs to be cleaned.if it still does it check that the oil level is at the full mark, if overfilled it would cause the same problem.

SOURCE: My Karcher K9.8 electric pressure washer started

Not Simple.
I have the same Problem, the leak is from the seam of the Manifold or on the pressure side of the Pump and the hose housing. In my case there is a small crack in the seam of the Manifold Housing. A manufacturing defect.. A New Manifold Complete Replacement about the half the price what I paid for this pressure washer at Walmart... :( If under 1 year old, and you can find a receipt,Karcher will replace the whole Pressure washer under warranty.

SOURCE: karcher pressure washer leaking oil

Usually electric pressure washers only have oil on the pump, so its very likely that you will find the problem there. I'd say check all the pump seals and if that doesnt solve the problem, you can check to see if all bolts are tight when you close the pump back.

I have a karcher kb9020 which pulses when idol any ideas why

The "manifold" as talked about above is also called the "Control head".
For a picture of the very small cracks in the control head see here: Karcher Control Head cracks

The video linked to below talks about the cracks in the control head at 7:00 through to 7:08. They guy incorrectly calls it the cylinder head in the video. How to FIX Karcher pressure washer

If Karcher made the control head from an aluminium casting, or used a metal insert near the point of failure, their product range would be a LOT more reliable.

How to put oil back into the Karcher water pump

You need to remove the pump and sit it brass side up before removing the bolts holding the brass to the aluminum part (you have to do it that way so the oil doesn't spill out.) CAUTION: there is some spring tension on the brass head.

Take the brass head off and set to the side on a rag or in a bucket. Dump out whatever oil is in the oil side, making sure not to drop the swash plate or bearing (the pieces sitting in the oil). Fill the oil end with aproximatly 4.5 ounces of Karcher pump oil, (or just 20w 50 weight non-detergent oil). Put the brass head back on and tighten bolts. Put the pump back on the machine.

If this helps please rate.

Can't fine where to put pump oil in

Dear glenoaks06,
I handled various Karcher washers, but the 2500 I never came across it. Just the same I will give you a few hints and maybe the solution for the problem. When the oil is milkey this means it has water in it. This means that there are faulty seals for sure. Now in many Power Washers the compartment where the oil is located is filled with oil prior to assembling the head unit that contains the pistons. So you have to take apart the the complete head change all seals( HP seals, LP seals and OIL seals). There are pumps that take multi-grade oil(15/50) and others 90 grade oil. If your pump is fan cooled, it probably takes 15/50 oil. Now one of the main biggest problem of water in oil is Faulty and Scratched PISTONS.
So when you have the pump apart....check condition of pistons. It is useless to change seals if pistons are damaged.
Now one thing regarding your problem, is that you have to put together the head with the pump upside down, so that you can fill the compartment (where the pistons are pushed by the swash plate), with OIL, before you put back the complete head with good pistons, springs, seals, valves...etc..etc. These few hints are relevant to quite a number of Karcher washers.
Regards,
Fulltech.
